"Mother, please don't say anything wrong to Princess Charlotte," Andrew told Beatrice, who confusedly looked at him.
"What did I say to Charlotte?" Beatrice asked, and gestured to the lady in her service to leave.
"On the breakfast table. Why did Mother have to say Princess Charlotte should take the responsibility?" Andrew asked his mother.
Beatrice chuckled and told her son she wasn't wrong about it. "If Charlotte had not married Édouard, then Princess Matilda would have been a part of this royal family. So, she must take the responsibility if anything goes wrong," Beatrice pronounced.
"Mother, this is the last time I am hearing about Charlotte. Mother should not forget she was once a mistress to the King and people spoke against her too." Andrew didn't want to use such an example in front of his mother, but he had no way to shut his mother's mouth.
"Andrew!" Beatrice scrunched her brows as she raised her voice at him.
