章 9: Gacha and servant

<p>(Errol's POV)<br/> <br/>Three days have passed since Rito's failed confession to Sairenji, but at least he seems happy upon learning they were just going on vacation.<br/> <br/>Right now, I'm preparing to use the Gacha system. It's been a year since the last time I used it, and I'm hoping for something good. I've prepared numerous luck-boosting rituals, such as prayers, purchasing Chinese luck-boosting items, and other luck-related activities.<br/> <br/>This might seem a bit excessive, but this is the year Lala will finally appear, although I don't know exactly when. Sometimes I worry she might not come, or that she might appear in a different place and not in the bathroom.<br/> <br/>The butterfly effect theory suggests that a butterfly flapping its wings can cause a tornado on the other side of the world. So, what more when a person blows or kicks some rocks? These thoughts worry me a bit.<br/> <br/>To distract myself, I decide to use the Gacha system, hoping I can get something that will ease my worries. A rock appears. I wanted something to distract me, not remind me of the jokes from my previous life.<br/> <br/>Frustrated, I decide to see what this rock does before going to sleep.<br/> <br/>"Summoning Stone: A stone to summon a Heroic Spirit from crushing it. The servant will be random and they will get the benefit of having a perfect vessel that will make them a strong servant while having most of the human senses. They will also be cut off from their connection to the Throne of Heroes and lastly, a random gift to the parameters of the servant."<br/> <br/>I blink a few times and re-read the description, making sure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. I can't believe I have a chance to summon characters from Fate into this world.<br/> <br/>"Great!" I shout, startling Mikan in the kitchen and causing her to drop an egg.<br/> <br/>"What is Er-Ni doing this time that makes him lose his serene-like attitude?" she wonders, looking as if something impossible has happened.<br/> <br/>Back to me, I feel like I've just won the lottery, but with a much bigger reward. I'm a fan of Fate, even though I never got a chance to watch or play the game. The thing that stopped me from choosing to go there is my lack of complete knowledge of the canon, the presence of too many OP characters, the fear of Alaya sending me Emiya Shirou the moment I got there, and the fact that most people there don't have a good ending. It's not a good place to live your life.<br/> <br/>But now, I have a chance to summon the thing that made Fate popular. I wonder who I'll get. Should I do it now or later? I decide to do it now. After all, my family will just question where he/she came from and go on with their life as if nothing weird happened.<br/> <br/>With that thought in mind, I crush the stone. It turns into light particles that slowly form a summoning circle. As time goes by, the magic circle grows brighter and a silhouette of a person appears.<br/> <br/>An elegant, virtuous, and glamorous woman in the prime of her youth appears. She has very long hair, which she ties at the very end. She's wearing some kind of latex bodysuit, with a piece of cloth draped over her chest and crotch, tied by a rope around her waist. She has some armor in the form of tight gauntlets and greaves, elbow and knee-length respectively. Her katana is sheathed, connected to her by another sort of rope.<br/> <br/>"Hello, my dear Mage. Servant, Saber... Oh? Huh? I am not a Saber... Oh, dear. It looks like I have... 2 classes."<br/> <br/>I'm stunned by her beauty. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. It is especially effective against Mysteries.<br/> <br/>Noble Phantasm:<br/> <br/>Ox-King Storm Call - The Inescapable Net of Heaven is the Noble Phantasm of Minamoto-no-Raikou.<br/> <br/>Gozu Tennou, the source of Raikou's demonic nature and unusual form, temporarily summons his divine messenger, the ox. Together, they annihilate the enemy camp. The weapons that materialize through thunder symbolize the souls of her subordinates, the Four Heavenly Kings. Each weapon is wielded by a clone created by Raikou. As a culmination of Raikou's episode where she exterminated the Ushi-Oni, the destructive power of the divine messenger surpasses its original strength.<br/> <br/>Upon examining her parameters, I can conclude that she is incredibly strong, perhaps even stronger than me. However, as she is a Heroic Spirit, this is to be expected. I am on the verge of a breakthrough, and I am confident that I will become stronger soon.<br/> <br/>Her skill, Mad Enhancement, gives me an unusual feeling.<br/> <br/>I tried to recall what I knew about her from the wiki until it hit me.<br/> <br/>Oh no! It appears I have to thank the system for the modification it made to her Mad Enhancement.<br/> <br/>According to the official wiki, the original Mad Enhancement made her retain her intellectual self without losing her reason, but she would exhibit an extreme maternal love. She would monopolize the object of her affection, disregarding all social morals and eliminating anything for his/her sake.<br/> <br/>It seems I narrowly avoided being bound to a yandere mother. She remains one, but at least she is more manageable now.<br/> <br/>"Umm... Master, how long are you going to stare at me?"
