Asher jumped on the duke and deepened their kiss, making the duke flinch and take a step back.

However, Felix soon adjusted and kissed him back, but resisted to place his hands anywhere on Asher as he feared Asher might do the same in response, then both of them going further than just a kiss.

No…he needed to go to work.

Thankfully, they just kissed and nothing else happened.

When the duke left the bedroom, Asher also got up, put on his clothes, and left for the servants' house. He would change his clothes and come back to work. He was doing fine.

Somehow, the duke's gentle behaviour had lessened the pain and numbness that was left after sex. Still, whenever he recalled the duke being gentle, it made him feel so impatient.
