章 36: [Emperor’s Bloody Past…]
The Emperor Of Araezia did not have it easy growing up as a prince of an empire like most would probably think.
He was always known as a failure throughout his childhood and was the weakling of the clan with no attribute… He who only brought them shame and dishonor they branded him a disgrace.
He was for the most part disowned while getting picked on and beaten as a kid continuously making him grow stronger through every brutal beating he suffered.
This was done not only by his peers but also wicked cold-hearted adults who shunned him for being so weak as a prince and the son of their supreme leader.
He always got into trouble picking fights with commoners,nobles,even his own siblings and Royal family members earning the respect and admiration of some along the way for his strength and determination.
He could always handle himself thanks to his inherent strength which is ironic because he absolutely detested his father for the harsh treatment and abuse his family suffered from him on a daily basis.
His father showed no parental love for William and his 2 siblings throughout their lives causing them to slowly garner hatred for him overtime as they got older.
His father was a cold and ruthless man to everyone he knew, even to his own family and blood relatives known to be a man with no sense of morality or honor and only had a thirst for more power but in the end it was his downfall.
It's been said that he actually took delight in tormenting his family and servants on the regular, he was known as the worst human tyrannical ruler for thousands of years of his reign.
William's father Artemis, was a feared warrior and ruler in the minds of every strong mortal in Alvesia , he was also one of the creators and founders of The 21 Mortal Celestials Sovereigns.
They were known as the supreme rulers of humanity and mankind. It's estimated that they are currently thousands of years old and have already created many children who then eventually gave them grandchildren ultimate expanding their lineage and legacy across several generations.
After they had become great gods and created their own divine realm they allowed their descendants to do as they pleased on Alvesia. They then gave them their blessing before disappearing from the universe to further their cultivation in their own divine realms.
Their children took their thrones without even knowing the true meaning and history of the world and universe and ultimately underestimating the primordial entities which was a raving mad decision considering they were the pillars of the omniverse in all it's glory.
This was something that their very ancestors feared and wanted to avoid at all cost was, but to their very dismay it was brought about by their very descendants and for nothing more than greed for more power and resources.
Artemis, Willam's father, was the son of the now absent and Divine God Of Hunting and Mankind, Orion and the Divine goddess of fertility,sex and beauty Venus which were divine species and are children of Supreme Gods.
Artemis was one of their 4 descendants that became the new rulers of the mortal continent forming a pact between 21 other human kingdoms becoming a world organization and government that still holds power and rules over the mortal continents.
William was the eldest son of the legendary emperor who held the nickname "The Smiling Tyrant" for his pure but domineering smile that was charming yet unsettling… meaning you wouldn't know when he was angry,sad,or joyful or fearful he would look at you with the same eerie smile which is quite frightening indeed making him an opponent you could not read…
He was also feared because he was a child of the divine, his very presence made people shiver, genuflect and kowtow they were not willing to risk bringing down the supreme gods wraith if they were angered so most would stay clear of direct meetings with Artemis.
It was no wonder William had the inherent power of commanding his servants and asserting his dominance over others and will over others, it was in his blood and dna after all…He is the grandchild of a Supreme Being!
That being said, back then he had no other choice but to fight tooth and nail for his fathers recognitions and approval or suffer the torment and agony of his father's mighty energy and power.
William mother served in a well known brothel for mortals, it was famous for finding the most beautiful women you would ever see in your lifetime from every single race.
Men and women were captured and them made sex slaves for nobles and the royal family giving them the reputation of being lustful barbarians breeding and spreading their seeds throughout all different kinds of races creating hybrids breeds.
The unfortunate thing was that birth rates of said children were extremely low and babies usually died by the age of 5 unless having healing and magical treatments for several months after their birth.
Healing treatments were not cheap and would usually take much longer done in It was too fast and overwhelming for their newfound bodies to handle and adapt to causing them to die long before they were ever born.
The Imperial Family not only allowed slavery, but even enforced it themselves because they are of Royal blood and were openly engaging in the same activities.
William's mother be a strong-willed, intelligent and a very reliable woman but was known to be domineering and very rebellious which was understandable given her circumstances.
She was eventually sold off and purchased from William's grandfather, she was one of the slaves he bought to then serve as maids for the royal family.
Her name was Ursula Silver and she was by far the most beautiful, enchanting and captivating of the bunch.
If it weren't for the fact that she were a slave most would think she would be of noble or royal lineage and not a mere commoner. She caught the eyes of every male and female in the empire regardless of their status making her highly sought after among all the nobles in Araezia.
She was in fact a Half-Blood Vampire with an unknown linage. She had a petite body with long lustrous blonde hair, ruby red eyes and blood red lips, smooth jade skin and delicate doll-like but mature facial features that complemented her well.
Her beauty even caught the eyes of Williams father Artemis who was known to have several consorts at his side and decided he wanted to take her as one of his cultivation partners.
When they son discovered that Ursula was pregnant with William it didn't really come as a shock to them but they both had completely different views about it.
Ursula of course adored and loved her child unconditionally but Artemis did not feel the same, he already had two children from his 1st wife and didn't care to have anymore especially with someone of Ursula's background and past.
Artemis completely ignored William for the first part of his life and only gave him enough funds to survive with completely different to how he treated William's older siblings which made them feel for their little brother.
They knew he didn't ask to be brought into this world and that nothing was fault, they also knew how their father really was behind closed doors.
This was not something they could overcome at the time because of the difference in cultivation realms so could only keep their mouths to not anger or upset him.
This caused them to start resenting their father little by little and as their little brother grew up they knew they would have to make sure he got stronger.
When he was old enough they'd eventually have to tell him the cruel reality of things and how their father was known as a brutal tyrant who only cared for himself.
As William grew older they would train with him teaching him magic, swordsmanship, all kinds of spells or techniques and controlling his spiritual energy.
His massive mana pool had been his one gift and blessing in his life allowing him to break through the cultivation realms at alarming speeds which he siblings simply didn't inherit.
When William turned 25 he decided to leave his high position in the Imperial Army and started to scheme his own fathers demise which was unbeknownst to Artemis as he never paid much mind to William's training and cultivation.
William's lifelong mission was to challenge his fathers rule and take the imperial throne as his rightful seat cementing his place in history.
He wanted to give mother and siblings a better life, he dreamed this his entire life after years of seeing the physical and verbal abuse his family suffered from his father.
Willam told his mother and his sibling his mission reminding them constantly of their built up hatred they had acquired for their father over the years. Each and every time William had told them this they always felt ashamed and weak.
The thought of their little brother surpassing them in power and vowing to give them a better life hurt their pride since they were the older siblings they thought it should've been the other way around.
Im the end they just didn't measure up to their little brother never achieving anywhere near the amount of feats and strength that William did so they had no choice but support and have faith in their powerful little brother.
*Flashback*
Location-Araezia Imperial Cultivation Chamber
Date - 11 Years Ago
"Brother William… Are you sure about this?" Williams older brother said with with a voice of hesitation.
"Yes older brother." William said with profound determination in his eyes looking at his brother with a case of steel.
"I feel ashamed of my current strength…I wish that I was strong enough to help you right now little brother."
"I know. Don't worry though…You'll also have an important role to play in this as well, so I'll rely on you when the time comes!"
"Sure thing brother… But there is something on my mind I want to say to you though… Look… I know I don't have the right to tell you this, but I think you should give it a little more time… I mean… I just don't know if you are strong enough to face father right now!"
"I feel the same William… Please think this through before you make any rash decisions, I can't lose you you hear me!" Said his big sister looking at William with a caring but worried expression as she gently stroked his cheek.
William had found his resolve long ago so he no fear in challenging his fathers might, he knew deep down it wouldn't be easy and he would undoubtedly change after it was all said and done.
This was whether it was for better or worse but thinking of his mother and siblings made all of his fear and apprehension melt away.
His plan was to openly challenge his father to a duel in front of his subjects at the next Imperial Council Meeting with hopes of triggering his fathers anger and wraith.
Then In an attempt to defend him himself he would kill his father right then and there taking the throne for himself.
All the while, he knows that his father's closest subjects would be watching therefore they would no their place and never question his authority and power.
"This is what I have to do, I won't turn back now… This fight was inevitable from the very beginning and now I finally have the power to do something, so I will!"
Location - Imperial Council Room
"Where is that rebellious son of mine? I haven't seen him in quite a long time, I wonder what he's been up to…"The emperor turned to his imperial advisor squinting at him a menacing glare.
The advisor started to sweat and immediately bowed his head before sending one of his servants to look for William.
"Im sorry your majesty…"
"Huh?"Artemis narrowed his eyes fiercely seemingly gazing into his own servant's soul making him shiver as sweat dripped down his forehead.
"I have not seen the young master since he resigned from the Imperial Army…"
"What did you just say?"Artemis sounded genuinely surprised but his voice still carried anger and irritation.
"Around 6 months ago, Young Master William said that he was close to finally making a breakthrough, so he said he would be going to the cultivation chamber to train for awhile."
I see…"Said Artemis as he closed his eyes and slowly shook his head back and forth as his long black hair now covered his face.
"So… He's finally went and done it, huh?"
"…"
"It makes sense, I now understand why he resigned so suddenly, that means this should be quite interesting then GaHaHaHaHa!…"
Location- Entrance Of The Imperial Castle
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
CRASH!
"Gyahhhh!"
BOOOOOOMMMM!
"Aghhhhh!!!!"
"What's going on?!"
"We have an intruder entering through the hidden entrance of the castle!"
"Dammit…Activate the defensive armored magic formation immediately!"
"What the hell is this?"
"This power?!"
"No…It can't be!"
"It's so dark and sinister…A Monster?!"
"No…I-Is that young master William?!"
"But How…How is he this strong now?!"
"No way I-I can't believe it…"
"Report this situation to his majesty immediately!"
"We'll hold him off for now…Go!"
"Y-Yes Sir!"
The sound of footsteps could be heard closing in fast on the Imperial Council Room. Artemis who had his eyes closed in deep thought opened them immediately and quickly noticed that someone was coming and that something was going wrong.
"What is it now?" The emperor said with annoyed tone using his telekinesis to open the council room door swiftly just as the one of the Imperial guards rushed into the room almost face planting.
He immediately stopped on a dime and kneeled in front of Artemis bowing his head to the floor before building up the courage to tell him the news gulping in fear.
"Your majesty, we have an intruder but it turns out that it's the young master…"
"What should we do?"
"That damned brat… He's always causing me trouble!"
Artemis balled up his fist slamming them on his throne shaking and cracking the floor underneath him as his haki spread throughout the room creating fire like flames burning even his servants without care.
"It seems I"ll have to discipline him again huh?"
Artemis waved of his guards and stood up slowly with veins bulging out of his forehead surrounded by a fiery red aura that leaked out everywhere causing his servants to prostrate themselves before him.
They didn't even having the courage to glance up at their master and they didn't move a muscle if he did not say and they would not act without his orders as his word was law to all under his rule.
"Gyahhhh!"
BOOM! BOOM! *Explosion!*
"He's too strong, it's useless…We can't defeat him!"
"He's heading for the council room!" One guard threw his hands on top of his hands in fear of what would happen if they failed to stop William.
"Stop him immediately, before he interrupts the council meeting!"
The guards were in panic shouting back and forth at each other trying everything in their power to stop William from interrupting the meeting but to no avail.
After his newfound cultivation leveling he was on a whole different level compared to these guards they were nothing more then glorified cannon fodder to him now.
William used his death attribute mana to form a phantasmal giant fist that slowly drained the energy out of anything it touched that contained life which was one of his greatest powers.
He then split his giant fist apart te make 9 slightly smaller fist grabbing a guard with each hand squeezing the life out of them like a boa constrictor suffocating it's prey.
He wiped out anyone that dared stand in his way while draining them of their spiritual energy almost immediately without even giving them the slightest chance to react or retaliate.
"Our energy?!"
"It-it's getting drained?"
"I'm so weak and tired…What the hell's… going on?"
"We're going to die! STOP! STOP!"
I said stop you bastard! Agyyghhh!!! No-No!"
"Please young master!!!"
Artemis was absolutely livid and you could tell by his facial expressions just how furious he was making his spiritual pressure rise to immeasurable heights which even William always feared.
Artemis noticed William with his all observing eyes and glared at his son with clear killing intent. He expanded his fiery red spirit aura which burned everybody and anything in the room with absolutely no remorse whatsoever.
"If you're in the way and don't want to die, then leave now!" Said Artemis in a deep voice behind it was a domineering and commanding tone shaking the floor around him causing his servants to kneel instantly without question.
They were currently still getting scorched by his fiery spirit aura but nonetheless they followed his orders instantly, quickly started fleeing the council room tripping and fumbling over one another as they ran in fear.
"I'm here my son! So you've finally come here trying to put an end to all this huh?"
"I know it won't be easy but I've been training and preparing for this my whole life…It's finally time don't you think?"
"Indeed, this has been an inevitable outcome for quite some time now."Said Artemis as his haki started to fluctuate even more becoming a scorching hot magma which evaporated anything in his presence including the ground underneath him.
William gripped his fist in anger evil thoughts racing in his head he knew this was his one chance,"I'll do whatever it takes to kill you right here… And right now, my families future depends on it!"
Artemis scoffed at his sons impudent response and shut his eyes to calm his rage that had been steadily building up since he discovered that William broke through his cultivation realm and was now almost on par with him in terms of raw power.
"Did you already forget just how powerful and experienced I really am? It'd take you thousands of years and battles to defeat me! You are a mere weak and pathetic brat upset that he doesn't have the perfect life he "thinks" he deserves! In this world you should know, the strong do as they please and take what they want from the weak, it's a simple concept really! The weak then remain hopeless, clinging to their cowardly ways constantly getting reminded of their own weaknesses when the strong overpower them for resources! They are nothing but followers,sheep, slaves, and forgettable nobodies that will never be remembered for their grotesque existences… The only reason they should even exist is to live out their miserable and pitiful lives working themselves to death for the strong until their worthless lives turns to nothing but a grain of dust scattered in the wind, their legacy no more… Never to be remembered of again… You…You will be one of those people, William, my son! I-I've given you far to many chances to give up and obey me but it seems you are stubborn and dauntless just like me in fact, I guess we are more alike then I once thought… Not that it matters anymore though this is it."
"Well then… Enough useless chattering, let's begin shall we!"
"You disgust me… Is that really all you think life is for them father? If so you are not worthy of living.
"Don't worry about that…The punishment you'll receive today is sure to bring you despair, it'll torment you for the rest of your life, that's if you manage to survive somehow…"
"W-What?" Said William as he started to think of his one and only weakness, his family.
"Blood and death is all you'll see after this is all over, but I guess you already know that, don't you?"
"I do… But you should know by now that your intimidation tactics won't work on me anymore! I've heard enough of your rambling it won't change my mind!"
"Tsk Tsk Tsk, Ill ask you just one more time because your starting to piss me off brat."
"Are you sure you don't want to reconsider, I'll let it slide this time since you broke through a new realm and stood your ground well today but don't let it go to your head boy…Well, how about it?"
"I'll never forgive you for all that you've done to our family you fucking scum… Today… I'm gonna send you to the bottom of hell!"
"Really now?"
"I wonder why you have so much confidence… Just how arrogant have you become?" Artemis said stretching out his hand slowly grinning a menacing smile while doing it making William feel true despair for the first time in his life.
William had already known this would be the most challenging fight of his life and that many people may die but he had already came this far they're was no turning back now but what he didn't know is that his father was well prepared and was evil beyond comprehension.
In a instance Artemis snapped his fingers as a red teleportation circle appeared right in front of him revealing hidden figures laying down in the grey smoke and one by one the 3 silhouettes could be seen beneath the smoke.
When the smoke finally cleared the 3 figures could now be seen clearly, their faces were beaten and bloody and metallic like collars around their necks with a red light on the side beeping and flashing red excessively.
For William his biggest fear was playing out right in front of his eyes making him clutch his fist differing his jails into his hand bleeding all of the council room floor staining the carpet.
His heart dropped at the sight his was now witnessing his entire aura and attitude changed.
He now felt like the same helpless and weak little boy everyone thought him out to be making him close his tightly shaking from the rage he was now feeling overtaking his entire body.
"You… How could you!"
"Brother! Sister! Mother!!!"
"Don't come any closer William… I've activated the timer for the safety explosive implanted in their chain collars."
"W-What…Why did you do this? This was between me and you! Do you have no honor?!"
"No. It is you who is mistaken my son… They've always been involved right from the very beginning… Since the day you were born they've always looked out for you, did you think I wouldn't notice?"
"So, Y-You knew?"
"Of course… I can be complacent at times but I'm not a fool William.
"I've already given you a chance to surrender yet you still couldn't manage to bow your head… It's quite a shame really. I'll have to kill one of my wives and all 3 of my children for what you've done but treason against me is a death penalty for anyone even family!"
The beeping noises on their collars intensified as the countdowns started down from 10 Time started to feel slowed down as William tried to come up with a way to save his family a million thought ran through his head on the verge of tears the only thing fueling him was hatred and rage he know longer had any restraints blocking his power and he was now as strong as Artemis in terms of raw power.

'I HAVE TO SAVE THEM! T-THIS CAN'T BE REAL…NO!NOOOOO! I HAVE TO SAVE THEM! I WON'T LET THEM DIE LIKE THIS!!!!"

Williams quickly came back to reality after the scene in which his view was dyed blood red and obscured, he quickly came to terms with the despair and pain he felt in his heart for a long time because of it. He immediately tried to forget the thought of his devastating and bloody past which had given him ptsd since then. He tried his hardest to forget but how could he that was the day he lost everything
"I really don't want to remember that… I won't let my family be alone! Never…Never again!"
[Narrator-
"Williams rage triggered an abnormal occurrence in his death attribute only brought about by intense emotion or rage giving him extraordinary power and abilities for a short period of time. If this scenario had happened any different William may not have beaten his father and would have been lost to history with a death that would've been forgotten by most and unknown by the rest. William stood looking as if he were death itself using his death attribute mana combined with his spiritual haki decaying anything that held life in his vicinity even his father who had been amazed by William's newfound transformations that of which he had never seen before. A bloody and memorable battle took place that day that single- handedly changed the mortal continents for generations to come effectively shaping a new era of mortal cultivators intent on taking over the rest of the world… Will they succeed in their conquest? It's hard to say right now… It will be a long journey indeed, as a turbulent and chaotic era has now begun."
