章 44: chapter-44
Tailed beasts are the biggest weapon of any village, and every village wants to gain control over them. Now Gaara has unleashed one such beast in the middle of leaf village. Leaf ninja have grim expression on their faces, they don't know how to handle this situation. Their Hokage was stuck in a battle with Orochimaru, and they not only have to deal with a tailed beast but also protect the people who were unconscious due to Kabuto's genjutsu. Most of them were looking for someone to come forward and take command of this situation. Kakashi understood the thinking of other leaf ninja, although he didn't want to but he decided to take charge of situation.
Before he can do anything, Naruto use summoning jutsu and summoned the chief toad. Everyone looked at Naruto in awe, they all thought that Naruto doesn't stand a chance against Neji, and here when all of them were feeling despair against tailed beast, it was Naruto who is facing against such opponent. Kakashi looked at Naruto standing at top of Gamabunta's head, he felt as if he was watching his sensei in a battle. He was feeling emotional but he suppress all his emotions and took command of leaf ninja. He told all the genin and chunin to wake up the people fallen into genjutsu and help them evacuate while the jonin were commanded to surround the people and form a protective shield for them. Fight between chief toad and bijuu was not something they can participate in, so best thing they can do is use defensive jutsu to protect people from becoming casuality in the fight between two giants.
Orochimaru was amused when Gaara transform into tailed beast, but when Naruto summoned chief toad, he was surprised. Orochimaru was no stranger to toads, he was teammate of Jiraya so he fought alongside toads on many occasions.
OROCHIMARU: "It seems Jiraya has taken another disciple."
THIRD HOKAGE: "New generation will always surpass the old. With them present to carry the will of fire, foundation of Konoha will always be strong."
Fight between Orochimaru and third Hokage was getting more intense. Third Hokage was running out of option, he wanted to use Dead Demon seal to take down Orochimaru and three Hokages with him but Orochimaru send fourth Hokage to capture Sasuke. With no other option he decided to use the technique to deal with enemies in front and let other deal with the fourth Hokage and rest. He had a feeling that Sasuke won't be capture by fourth Hokage and third Kazekage, especially when those two cannot even use thirty percent of their total prowess. Third Hokage created two shadow clones and use the dead demon seal against two Hokage and Orochimaru. He manage to seal first and second Hokage and was dealing with Orochimaru. Situation turn bad for Orochimaru who didn't expect his sensei to pull off such move. He was doing his best to stop his sensei from taking him down but he was getting desperate.
Meanwhile Sasuke was fighting three enemies at once, he didn't want to reveal his mangekyou sharingan and dealing with the three of them without it was very difficult. Fourth Hokage was toughest opponent of the trio even though he can use thirty percent of his power at most. Sasuke planned to undo the seal and let the third Kazekage and fourth Hokage gain their free will but it was easier to come up with such plan than actually executing it. While Sasuke thought it was no longer possible to keep the mangekyou a secret and decided to use it, suddenly fourth Hokage vanish from his position.
At first Sasuke was on his guard, he was keeping an eye on every special kunai of fourth Hokage, he was waiting for him to appear but when the fourth Hokage didn't appear for few seconds he realized what happened. This made him chuckle as he looked at Kabuto and said;
SASUKE: "It seems third Hokage is too much for Orochimaru to handle. I won't kill you today, but remember this Kabuto, this is the only chance you will get. Keep following Orochimaru and next time we meet, I will kill you. Make your decision wisely."
In the cannon, Kabuto was the main reason for dire situation of ninja alliance army. If not for him using impure world reincarnation, alliance army wouldn't have suffered that many casualties. But the Kabuto in front of has not done those things so he decided to give him a chance.
With fourth Hokage gone, pressure on Sasuke almost reduced to half. He opened the fourth gate and with his increased speed he manages to strike third Kazekage with rasengan, this gave him enough time put a seal on third Kazakage. Sasuke always kept many fuinjutsu seals with him and since today was a special day he came prepared.
SASUKE: "I think it is the time for you to run."
Sasuke has two options to deal with third Kazekage, first was to seal him and second was to let him gain his free will. He wasn't sure if third Kazekage would help him since sand village is attacking leaf. If it were any of the Hokage, he would have prefer to undo the suppression seal and let them gain their free will. Kabuto understood that Sasuke has the ability to finish him off so he decided to not test his patience and took the chance provided to him to flee. Sasuke didn't chase after Kabuto, he made his way to the arena.
Orochimaru has let the fourth Hokage to leave one of his mark with him as precaution, he didn't expect that he would need it so soon. Fourth Hokage manage to rescue Orochimaru from his predicament but he was caught in the dead demon seal instead of Orochimaru. By the time Sasuke reached the arena, third Hokage died and all four Hokage were trapped in dead demon seal.
Fight between chief toad and shukaku was also near conclusion. Naruto tried to keep the focus of his fight away from passed out civilians but since they were fighting in the middle of village, it caused a lot of destruction and a section of village was leveled. Sasuke didn't immediately jump to fight but instead he went to Kakashi and Guy.
KAKASHI: "Where were you, we needed your help."
SASUKE: "I was dealing with few problems, then fourth Hokage and third Kazekage attacked me. Although Kazekage wasn't a problem but fourth Hokage is not easy nut to crack. Anyway I was late because I was preparing seals to suppress one tail in case he goes on a rampage. Have you made such preparations?"
Fourth Hokage is not easy to deal with is a fact that everyone in the elemental nation would agree on. So Kakashi cannot deny that, and when Sasuke take out seals to suppress one tail he was speechless. It was indeed true that no one made such preparation. Sasuke handed one seal to Kakashi and one to Guy.
SASUKE: "We will attack from three directions and place these seal on him. Once it is activated, this giant one tail will disappear. After that I will put a five element seal on Gaara so that he won't go on a rampage like this, understood?
