章 17: Chapter 17: Growl

Five days. It has been five days since I saw Felix last. We met in the café every day for five days so I could catch up on tutoring him, and every day he looked worse.

There was a dull sheen to his eyes like he hadn’t slept for more than a couple of hours a night. His hands shook slightly like he was buzzed from too much caffeine. There were dark circles under his eyes. What was worse was there were parts of him that were starting to become more Lycan.

As far as I was aware, he didn’t know that I noticed his eye-teeth were a little longer and the hair on his head and arms were thicker. There was also a more pronounced hunch to his posture.

He was slipping and there was nothing I could do about it.

His doctor’s appointment had been pushed back a few more days, so he had to wait to get a refill on his Lycanthropy medication.

If I’m being completely honest, I was surprised at his strength of will. He was fighting every day to not change and was keeping control of himself.
