Bayu looked down on the small and minute walking pedestrians as he stood on the top of his building. He smiled, "Small, weak mortals. Live and die a very pathetic life full of pain and suffering and then blame their creator for all their own mishaps and shortcomings. But, in my world these nonsense creatures will have no place, they will be crushed like ants and perished from the world." He laughed. "Stop daydreaming, Bayu. Your dreams will never come true." Bayu turned and saw Novaria standing behind him. Bayu asked, "How did you know that I am here?" Novaria smiled, "That's my job, kid. I hunt and kill the culprits." Bayu laughed, "Then, it's your unlucky day, old hag. I'm far more powerful than you." Novaria smiled, "So much arrogance is not a good thing, Bayu. It has destroyed many emperors and big men. Anyway, I'm not here to kill you. Instead, I have a proposal for you and I'm sure that you won't reject it." Bayu said, "I don't you guys. The last time I trusted someone like you, I was trapped in the dungeon for centuries and all my army and my Elizabeth were killed. I don't want to repeat the history." Novaria said, "I am giving you a chance to change history and create a new history where you would be the king." Bayu asked, "What do you mean?" Novaria said, "I want you to help me destroy the Monastery, so that I can avenge my husband and son's death." Bayu laughed, "Revenge, revenge, revenge. What a sweet feeling. Isn't it? But, I still don't trust you. You are a traitor. You are betraying the Monastery who made you what you are today. What are the chances that you will remain loyal to me and won't deceive me?" Novaria asked, "Then, how can I convince you that I will not deceive you?" Bayu said, "There is a way. But, it will be very painful. Are you ready for that?" Novaria said, "Anything to convince you." Bayu said, "Disrobe yourself. I want to connect our bodies with each other. My pain will be your pain, my wounds will be your wounds, my defeat will be your defeat and my destruction will be your destruction." Novaria said, "I'm ready for it." Bayu caught her by the waist and slammed her on the marble floor and started fucking her. Novaria slowly started to scream and Bayu gagged her mouth with a piece of cloth.
Kenchi was sitting on the pedestal looking at the lower rank demons working tirelessly on plans of renovation and tightening the security measures of the Monastery. After Bacca's departure, Kenchi took the control of the Monastery in a very unanimous way as Assayah was not even in consideration and Kayuba never showed any interest in the affairs of the Monastery. Kenchi was shrewd and very carefully cleared all the opposition by either killing them or persuading them with hefty gifts and pleasure. He single-handedly made many new laws and designed the Monastery in a way suitable to him. He divided the ranks and made some individual ranks for the ones who were loyal to him. But, he never gave any thought to finding the spear like Bacca used to do because he knew perfectly that the spear was not going to come to him so easily and wasting time and strength on it seems baseless to him. He, instead advanced his steps towards finding the weapons who were either equal or more or less to the power of the spear. He also funded many new factories in making and preparing new weapons which would be beneficial for the upcoming war. He was never the best fighter, so he created many magical potions and decoctions which could enhance his abilities and decrease his enemy's abilities. He also opened harems for his generals and soldiers as he considers sexual satisfaction as the prime energy factor in one's life. Unlike Bacca, Kenchi was quite liberal towards both genders and openly supported involvement of females in both the military and political affairs. His assembly consists of an equal number of people of both sex and therefore his reign is considered quite good, even though the high ranking members like Novaria disagree with him. Everyone openly ignores Novaria as she considers Kenchi as the killer of her son which was incorrect in the eyes of everyone. Kenchi perfectly knows that two demons cannot produce a child and only a ghost partner can have a child with them. But, ghosts have no womb and therefore only female demons can get pregnant. But, female demons don't like having sex with ghosts as they consider ghosts as a very vile form of the dead as they were once mortals. Kenchi encouraged many female demons to procreate and even issued gifts for them. But, still they won't agree and some even consider mutiny against him. Kenchi eventually left the notion and decided to look for other options to increase their population. Kenchi soon realised that killing sinful mortals can turn them into ghosts, but killing many mortals without any reasonable cause will rise suspicion and Xao Chang will be quite pissed with it.
So many thoughts were circling in his brain but the most troubling one was the nightmare that he saw last night. He saw that a young girl in crimson red colour armour decapitated him. Kenchi perfectly knows who the girl is and therefore he wanted to make the Monastery as safe as possible. He created many layers of walls and infused them with lethal poison which could melt enemies like butter. He cemented the doors of his room and made a secret tunnel to his room which was filled with weapons and magical potions of all kinds. Kenchi looked at the demons and sighed. He rose and walked towards the bathroom where hot steam baths were ready for him. A female demon ran towards him and said, "Let me wash you, my master." Kenchi smiled, "My bad luck. I'm a little busy today. Please, send Llaka. I have some important issues to discuss with him." Llaka is Kenchi's minister who handles the issues of the Monastery in the absence of Kenchi. Llaka is not a demon, but a ghost which is kept secret from all the other people as having a ghost as their minister will enrage them and will lead to a dreadful mutiny. Kenchi knew that but he was far more impressed with Llaka's shrewd tactics and therefore he ignored the fact that his closest person is a ghost. A pre-mortal. Llaka's background was quite a mystery as he never mentioned any details of his past and came suddenly one day in the Monastery, some days after the departure of Bacca. Since there was so much helter-skelter in the Monastery, they hadn't paid any attention to an unexpected member. Llaka remained quite low profile for most of his time and half of the Monastery didn't even know of his existence till one day Kenchi announced him as his minister. Llaka was defiant towards many ideas similar to Kenchi's and that is the main reason for him choosing Llaka as his minister. Llaka entered the room and sat near him and asked, "So, what's the matter, boss? You look quite tense." Kenchi smiled, "I always thought that being a king is all about power and luxury, but no one told about the headaches that come with it and the tension that resides in the brain of the king." Llaka massaged his head and said, "That's why every successful king has an able minister behind their backs. Don't worry. Every tension will have to face me before touching you." Kenchi smiled, "People say that rats and ministers are alike. They stay with you only till they have some ulterior motives involved and leave the scene as soon as the king starts falling." Llaka asked, "Don't you trust me?" Kenchi said, "Remember one thing, Llaka. The powerful ones are not the ones who have inherited someone else's power, but the ones who have the ability to create their own. You haven't seen the previous war, Llaka and therefore you are considering our enemies as weak and feeble. These petty politics have no place in the wars which changes the course of history in seconds. I know that you are thinking about the reigns of the Monastery, but that's not what will make you powerful. But, if you kill that girl who is going to be a chaos for us in the future, then this whole Monastery is yours." Llaka said, "But, I'm not a killer." Kenchi said, "There are no killers in the war. Only warriors and martyrs. Now, it's your decision which one you want to die as." Kenchi rose and said, "She is in Los Angeles City. Go and kill her." Llaka looked at his boss and sighed.
Novaria wore her clothes and asked, "Are you convinced now, Bayu?" Bayu looked at her and said, "We will need an army if we want to be successful in destroying the Monastery. Kenchi has already created a very elite and organised army of warriors behind him. He is no longer the jester that no one really cared about. Do you have an army?" Novaria said, "I wished I had an army. But, the people who are on my side are old and feeble people who have left behind their fighting days way back in the past. They have experience, but no energy to fight wars." Bayu said, "Then, why did you waste my time? You bitch." He slapped her. Novaria caught him by the collar and said, "I was ready to sleep with you for the sake of the destruction of the Monastery. Do you think I want to waste time?" Bayu said, "Imaginary courage is worse than real fear. It kills them with their own dreams." Novaria said, "I cannot give you an army. But, I can form one for you." Bayu asked, "What do you mean?" Novaria said, "A very huge controversy is happening in Assayah's life. If we play our cards right, very soon he will help us in destroying the Monastery." Bayu said, "Assayah is very shrewd. He will not fall in our traps. Any mistake will prove lethal for you." Novaria said, "I don't care. Even if I had to perish to destroy the Monastery, I would happily do that." Bayu asked, "Such hatred for such a trivial matter." Novaria asked angrily, "Why do you think it is a trivial matter? It is far better than your stupid egostical war." Bayu said, "My war is not driven by rage, but with a motivation to change the face of evil. Xao Chang is a dictator and even though I have never met him personally. But, the guy who is so much respected by a maniac like Bacca is surely a bigger maniac than him. That's why I wanted to change the Monastery and kill Xao Chang. I wanted demons to redeem themselves and become a part of the beautiful world where love prevails. You are also fighting for the same cause. So, how can you call my fight a 'stupid egostical war'? Novaria hugged him and said, "All I have heard about you was that you are a bad guy who deceived his own master. But, I never knew that you are such a revolutionary." Bayu kissed her and said, "You seem quite like Elizabeth to me. The same love and happiness in your eyes as I have seen in her eyes when I revealed my true identity to her." Novaria said, "I am flattered. But, don't get carried away by emotions. We still have a long way to go to our destination." Bayu smiled and hugged her tightly.
Assayah was lying on the floor in his own blood when his doorbell rang. He slowly walked towards the door and opened it. It was Samantha who was waiting there with a bouquet of roses in her hand. She was all drenched from the heavy rain outside and Assayah was too drunk to even properly welcome her. He asked, "Samantha? Is that you? Or am I dreaming?" Samantha slapped him and said angrily, "Why were you not accepting my calls? I am crazy that I came all the way here with roses, all drenched in rain so that you can insult me in a drunken state." Assayah slowly fell on her and said, "I don't know what our relationship is. Is it just friendship or something more? Is it just a happy moment? Am I going to be all alone again?" Samantha pulled him to the nearest chair and slammed him on the chair. She said, "Why are you all men so self centred? Always thinking about yourselves and not even an ounce for others. You are questioning our relationship? You, who has never said anything about your feelings and never cared to learn about mine. You come close whenever you feel right and distance yourself when you feel confused. But, do you even think about me once? You are older than me and also my cousin despises you. You are a concierge for politicians and businessmen and feed on their money like a pet dog. How can I convince myself that you are the right guy for me? Are you right? Sometimes, I think that I don't even know you. You're just that same stranger that I met at my grandpa's." Assayah fell asleep and mostly unheard her words, but woke up with a jolt when Samantha slapped him. Assayah said, "I am..I am..I am good. No matter what others think and say about me, I'm good. Good for you. I'm not their pet dog, but actually I'm the one who trains them to be good politicians and businessmen. I'm not what your nonsense cousin said. In fact, he himself is a very vile and unscrupulous person. He is a bloody mosquito. Sucks people's wealth and prosperity for a living. Who is he to give me a character certificate? He himself is a scum of society. I don't know how much you love me or not. But, I love you from the bottom of my heart and you may think that I have said these words to several women before you. But, you are first and I want you to be the last. I want us to be together. Our relationship will be.... marvellous." He blacked out. Samantha dragged him to the sofa and put a blanket on him. She planted a kiss on his forehead and smiled. Her phone rang. She answered and it was Peter. Peter asked, "Is the job done?" Samantha said, "Not all at once. Things have to go gradually or else he will suspect." Peter said, "Do whatever you want. But, I want results ASAP." She disconnected the call and looked at Assayah. She sighed, "Peter said that you are a very dangerous man. But, who will believe that. A kind and normal person who loves me. Only God can forgive me for this sin." She kissed his lips and went away...
