A few hours passed and yet Tristan didn't show any sign of movement as he just lay unconscious on the bed. A machine kept monitoring his vitals making sure everything was fine.

Blood was infused into his body, yet the man didn't wake up.

As if he was too tired to even stir and wanted to keep sleeping without bothering anyone.

As the man remained unconscious, the door of his room click opened and a woman walked him.

Her steps were steady as she made her way toward Tristan.

Her calm eyes looked at him but soon she furrowed and reached her hand to touch his face.

"Tristan... hubby... how long do you want to sleep" she complained cupping his cheeks, slowly stroking it with her thumb.

Tristan who had been in deep slumber flinched at the voice. His eyes were still closed but the warmth of that familiar hand running over his face gave him a sense of peace.
