Gwen stood still as she watched him pick up those empty bottles in his hands. The moment he stood up and was about to walk past her, she quickly grabbed his arm stopping him from taking a step ahead.

"Was it because of me you decided to drink?" she asked feeling the heaviness in her chest.

Gwen knew she had done a mistake by doubting him and it will always make her feel guilty, but she didn't want him to take the extreme step of ruining his health.

Karl noticed the unshed tears forming in her eyes and before they could stream down, he let go of his hand and hugged her.

"Don't blame yourself. It was my decision..." Karl explained.

Gwen buried her face into his neck and sniffed. She knew Karl never blame her for anything happening to him but deep down she knew it was her who pushed him to harm himself.
