By saying this Emma stood up.
"Now, follow me it's already too late," Emma said instructing Mason.
Mason too stood up and change his clothes. As he came after changing clothes, Emma glanced at him.
Mason. I remember how we spent our days all day giggling and nights finding and exploring our dreams, I miss our childhood. I miss our past, I miss us. My friend.
As Emma was looking at him and thinking about the past her eyes were filled with tears. Although there was not any expression on her face those tears-filled big eyes were easy to be noticed.
"Why are you crying?" Mason asked concerned.
"Umm...hmm I. I am not crying this is a mist". Emma replied and started rubbing her eyes to hide her tears.
Mason went forward and hold Emma's hand and then started walking outside.
Mason signaled the driver to bring the car and then opened the door for Emma, as Emma sat inside and then Mason went forward to sit beside Emma's seat.
Emma just watched Mason sitting beside her, she felt strange because they were not a couple and it was not like before because Emma was not married back then. But she didn't say anything.
" Do you like him?" Mason asked.
"Who?" Emma was startled, to whom about is he asking?
"Of course your husband, my love," Mason replied.
'My love' was a bit strange. Can he please stop being so strange we have parted ways years before. And why is he again asking about my personal life?
"Yeah, that's why I married," Emma replied.
Although it was wrong because Emma and David's marriage was an arranged marriage they didn't know each other before tying their knot. Emma married because she was exhausted from some problems and thought marriage was the only solution, and David wanted to start a new phase of life.
"Do you like him more than me?" Mason asked again although his eyes were closed it was as if his eyes were on Emma.
"What kind of question is it?" Emma retorted.
"You know when you spend your childhood with someone cute, humble, and blessed with the best humour so it feels as if the person is your whole world and you can not live without them but one day you come from nowhere knowing that the person is not any more yours makes you feel like death," Mason said and looked into Emma's eyes.
