Deming paced around the door of the small private room a short distance away from the main building of Banxi pavilion. His face was a mask of worry as he waited for his young master to return.

Deming stared at the door in intervals, hoping to catch a glimpse of his young master as he returned. The long wait ended when his young master stepped into few.

Deming ran down the low stairs and hurried to Nie Shaoqing's side, "Young master, what took you so long? I was about to come get you."

Now Shaoqing stared at the attendant's worry-filled face and smile, "I only stepped out to get some fresh air, you make it seem like I was taking a stroll through a heated battlefield".

"Given your history, you might as well be taking a walk through not just a battlefield but a burning room", Deming muttered under his breath.
