章 2: Meeting with the Devils

<p>Damn that was close, but luckily I managed to get out." Ryuu finally took a breath of relief after escaping from the kendo girls. <br/><br/>" Now to find Issei now, it's about time for him to visit Rias... Can't say I am not excited." <br/><br/>He started looking around in search of his buddy, Issei which was not too hard consisering the extremely low ratio of boys in school as this school was previously an all girls school. <br/><br/>After a short while of looking around, he found Issei who was thinking of something lying in the grass with a perverted grin on his face which he tactically ignored whilist approaching him. <br/><br/>"Don't you think it's about time for you to meet Rias?" He questioned him to which he didn't receive any response as the person in question was busy staring at the chest of the girls which were bouncing up and down with every motion during their track run. <br/><br/>"I have to say, boobs are something which you will find in plenty, denying every law of physcis and attracting you. This anime world is really crazy." Ryuu thought this inwardly before hitting Issei finally make his presence felt. <br/><br/>"Ow! What the hell dude!" He retorted back in anger and displayed a wronged expression on being hit on the head like that suddenly without any reason. <br/><br/>"As I was saying, aren't you going to meet Rias?" Ryuu repeated the question again while completely ignoring his complaint. Issei also didn't expect any justice from his cruel friend so he dropped the topic too. <br/><br/>"Well the thing is... I don't actually don't know where to go. She said she would send someone to pick me up?"<br/><br/>"She is the president of the Occult Research Club so where else could she be, and why did your answer sounded a question to me?" <br/><br/>Issei laughed out nervously, clearly embarrassed for not knowing such a simple thing and also on the fact that he doesn't know the club the most praised idol of the school is in, moreover when she is the president, not just a member. <br/><br/>Issei led the way after getting up and Ryuu followed behind while being on the look out to remember the route so that he can come back on his own, if required in future. <br/><br/>After walking for a bit, they reached the old school building which was being used the area for the Occult Research Club which no one found weird in the slightest as to why a single club can have such a big area. The reason was simple though, this world is inhabited by supernatural beings so nothing is impossible. <br/><br/>They both walked and after walking for a bit in the hallway, reached the door. The door stood magnificently between them, Issei was having every other thoughts than knocking on it so Ryuu stepped up and did it on his behalf. <br/><br/>"Come in!" A sharp voice came from inside, which sounded a lot like Akeno if he remembers correctly. He opened the door and entered the room, only to be greeted by a demonic atmosphere. It was as if he just took a step in hell itself. <br/><br/>Of course, that shouldn't have been the case, he is just a human, even if he knew about their identities, he can't feel the pressure from their devil forms unless he becomes a supernatural being himself. But this knowledge was something that Ryuu wasn't privy to at that time. <br/><br/>Rias was sitting on her usual area, behind the table on her chair, straight ahead while Akeno was standing behind her. And for Koneko, she was sitting on one of the couches while feasting on some cookies and for Kiba, he wasn't anywhere to be found. <br/><br/>Everything looked normal on the surface apart from one thing, which was a look of frustrating that flashed across Rias' face upon seeing him enter the room ahead of Issei. <br/><br/>He thought it to be a natural reaction as considering what she wanted to talk about... well Devil stuff, like how she did in anime but how can she go ahead and talk about it now when there is a human present in the room. Ryuu wasn't dumb and he already understood this point so he quickly decided to intervene before getting kicked out of the room. <br/><br/>"I want to talk to Sirzechs, the devil king. I already know that everyone here is a devil so let's skip over the formalities." <br/><br/>"Who is a devil and who is Sirzechs? Ryuu?"<br/><br/>His out of the blue statement caught all of them off guard, even his buddy who lead him here, he wasn't confident enough to say somethings so he stayed silent till now. <br/><br/>"You guys probably need to give him an explanation, let's continue our talks after you guys finish." <br/><br/>"No need...Akeno!" Rias cut him off and called for Akeno, she gave Rias a nod as if she understood everything and took Issei out not before closing the doors, leaving Ryuu and Rias to talk in private, well ignoring Koneko. <br/><br/>"Sit down, Ryuu." Not surprised in the slightest as how she knew his name, he sat down directly in front of her. That was because Rias and Sona, they both basically run this town and school so it didn't came to as much of a surprise that she knows about him. <br/><br/>"Now tell me, how do you know about the existence of Devils despite being a human, I don't sense a sacred gear neither any abnormalities so speak carefully. If you try to lie then don't think of leaving alive." <br/><br/>She glanced at Koneko while saying the last line, although she looked indifferent and continued eating, but he could sense she had her eyes on him and would probably attack him if he tried something funny. He also knew about her ability to detect lies and emotion so he needs to speak cautiously. <br/><br/>"I can't share my secrets with you, I will only talk to your brother, afterall that's why I came to you." He replied her calmly, not showing fear in the slightest even though he was scared out of wits on the inside as he was very well knowledgeable about their powers. <br/><br/>"Do you really think my brother is that free to come like that, he is a busy person. Moreover, I can't risk letting a suspicious person like you, getting in contact with him."<br/><br/>She replied back calmly while stating the facts, Ryuu also knew of that she wouldn't budge so easily but he smiled just hearing her answer. <br/><br/>"I don't knew you cared for your brother to that extent and what are you afraid of? Please spare me the words, your brother is a Satan class devil, I don't stand a chance against him. So why be so wary, plus he can definitely find time if it's a call from his dear sis."<br/><br/>He was wondering how to make her call for her brother when he suddenly saw two magical circles summoning in the rooms just behind Rias. He immediately knew, that his problems were unfounded. <br/><br/>"I am honoured to meet you Grafiya and Sirzechs." He said whilst getting up and performing a courtesy bow, although it wasn't perfect but it still got the meaning across them. <br/><br/>"To call me by name even after knowing of my identity, aren't you too confident?" Sirzechs asked him with an amusing smile on his face, slightly curious about this new kid. <br/><br/>"I am a friend of your sister, so isn't it natural for me to call you that and as far as I know you don't care much about pleasantries." He replied back to him with a friendly smile. <br/><br/>"You are pretty interesting, have a seat." Sirzechs allowed him to sit and he gladly took on that offer, while they also sat down on two chairs which were clearly not there earlier, so probably summoned by magic? <br/><br/>"What's the purpose of you calling the devil king here?" Grafiya who had been silent till know during the exchange, finally decide to speak. Her tone was cold, cold enough to make anyone shiver, Ryuu wasn't any exception. <br/><br/>"This is something which I would like to talk in private with Sirzechs, I hope you don't mind." He quickly made his point with any further delay and showed his intentions of private talk. <br/><br/>Sirzechs looked even more amused upon his request though it contradicts the expression of his wife, Grafiya, who wasn't very keen on accepting his request. <br/><br/>"Fine by me." But before she could speak her opinion out loud, she got cut off by Sirzechs earning him a deadly stare from her which of course shook him. <br/><br/>"He is just a human, it's gonna be fine, relax!" Sirzechs quickly pleaded his case as to not incur her wrath later on. As this exchange was going on everyone remained silent waiting for Grafiya. <br/><br/>"As you wish, Devil King." She replied back in her normal formal tone but one could easily see that she wasn't happy with his decision but she wasn't going to go against it and respect his choice. <br/><br/>Sirzechs laughed nervously before gesturing Ryuu to follow him. They both walked towards a room outside and closed the door while Sirzechs placed a barrier with his magic to probably not let any sound escape this room. <br/><br/>"I am all ears, let me hear what you have to say." He causally told Ryuu to speak out his thoughts while he sat on one of the couches present. <br/><br/>"What if I told you that everyone you care for are going to die?" Since Grafiya wasn't here anymore and being familiar with Sirzechs personality he had a bit more confidence to convince him. <br/><br/>Though contradicting him and his thoughts, Sirzechs took on a clearly serious expression, showing that he isn't in a mood for joking anymore. This was quite a worrying matter for Ryuu as he knew Sirzechs doesn't get serious ever in the entire series apart from two times. He was treading on thin ice at this point. <br/><br/>"No need to worry, it's not uncertain, atleast if you help me out. I know some of the major events that's going to occur down the line in the future." <br/><br/>"I know you are not going to believe me, so I will tell you something that might change your mind." <br/><br/>Ryuu recited everything he knew about the Devil Civil War between the two factions, how the war which would have had a large amount of casualties ended much easier. He ended his words while offering a deal to him. <br/><br/>"You can take your time to think, if you find me trustable, then take me with you to meet Ajuka. I have something to say that you both might want to listen." <br/><br/>He walked out of the room celebrating the fact that he didn't got killed inside of the room and actually made it out alive. But what puzzled him was how convenient everything went. It was rather a bit too convenient. <br/><br/>He recalled back the conversation and although he said some unpleasant words right at the beginning, Sirzechs stills was being patient and tolerant to a great extent even when he didn't had to. This made Ryuu complicated about things. <br/><br/>But he wasn't going to get any answers right now so he just decided to put this questions for later and just rejoice on this smooth conversation. <br/><br/>"If everything goes well, I should be able to meet Ajuka and get my main plan going". He is now one step closer to his dreams. <br/><br/>Ever since he got in this world, he had two options. The first one being, to hide and stay far away from the supernatural side and try to survive with his luck in the events which will happen soon. <br/><br/>The other being, put himself in between the supernatural, and get his hands on the waifus, he could only think about before. This was extremely risky, one wrong move, and his life is done. <br/><br/>He was the weakest among the weakest race, a human without a sacred gear. He needed strength, atleast enough to not be the glorified fodder in the future events. <br/><br/>A/n : I hope, I managed to keep thier personalities as close to cannon as possible. I think it came great in my opinion, so if you want to point out my mistakes, feel free to. I would definitely love to improve my story, and get better as a writer. <br/><br/>Just one small question, answer it if you got time but I wanna know if you would like to see Grafiya in the harem or as Sirzechs maid throughout the story. <br/></p>
