Where was Davi? Ivo scanned the ample living room discretely for any sign of him, but there was nothing.

Guilherme was still smiling at him, those unnerving silver eyes boring into Ivo deeper than any scan. Yunmi had outfitted him with a decoy OS that should fool most scans, and show Guilherme only what he was supposed to see, but Ivo still found himself fidgeting under his steady gaze.

"I'm an open book, you can ask me whatever you want," Ivo said, taking a tiny sip of his wine. He didn't think Guilherme would poison him, but he didn't like that he had sent everyone away to be alone with him.

Yunmi -- and probably Alina -- were listening in on everything, but wouldn't speak until it was extremely necessary. They didn't know what kind of security system the apartment had, and if it pinged any kind of incoming unauthorised communication.
