章 9: Chapter 9: Kastro
After the battle was over and i returned to the room i was congratulated by Baise for my 1st victory on 200th floor. I asked how her preparations were going on for her fight 3 days later with Kastro. I ensured her not to look down on your opponents at all in a fight, making sure that you use all your tools at your disposable is always the key to ensuring victory in a fight. Ample preparation, smart tactics and quick thinking are key to any nen fights. Using both basic and advanced nen techniques is key to understanding your opponent's strategy in a fight.
Baise has prepared a small staff and two mirrors to imitate transfer any damages she occurs during the fight. Since Kastro is an enhancement nen user the key to finishing the fight early is also an advantage and he lacks advanced nen techniques. Taking advantage of it could also turn the tide of the fight in your favor.
On the day of the fight Baise was tensed and was also excited to looking forward to her fight.I told her to be confident and be smart, that will be the key to your victory. Kastro who had won six matches in row was hunting for his seventh win and was shy of four wins to challenge a floor master. I bought a vip ticket and was sitting close to the stage and watch how both of them will fare against each other.
The announcer was reading out Kastro's achievement of how he had beaten 6 contenders previously and was most likely going to win the next match. The announcer also asked the crowd to place the bets on Kastro or on the rookie Baise. Well will i miss any chance to make some money, definitely not. I placed a considerable amount of money on Baise to win and odds are also good.
After a few minutes later Baise in her purple top, pink pants with training shoes walked towards the stage. With a huge roar of sound from the crowd Kastro makes his appearance walking towards the stage with a big smile on face and waving to the crowd. The referee points out the rules and how he will be rewarding the points and fight would start on his mark.
Fight started and they have thrown and few physical jabs and kicks at each other. Both of them are feeling out each other of how powerful they are before using nen abilities. But Baise has already won the fight when they had thrown the punches. She had used In and hidden her nen threads around Kastro and she is still continuing to spin more threads around him and later strangle him to accept defeat.
After 2 mins since the fight started Kastro started to become serious and was preparing to use nen ability. Suddenly he found himself unable to move or raise his hand and tightly wound like a bunch of vegetable tied together. He try to use his nen auro and enhanced physical ability to try to break free from the nen threads but it failed. Then Biase came and she spun few more thread making them tighter and harder by his neck area and told him to admit defeat. Kastro looked at the referee and nodded his acceptance of defeat. Once the referee declared the winner to be Baise she remove the nen threads and walked towards the exit of the stage.
Before she walked away from the stage she looked at Kastro and said that he is missing a lot of theory and you are exactly the same place i was a couple of months ago.
