She did not want to go to work. The last thing she ever wanted was to go back to her office and deal with her task for the day, not after her meeting last night.

Honestly, she loved her job. Bragging aside, she was great at it. The network knew it. That was why they always wanted her to do this assignment. 

They tried to promote her to a better position. But she had declined anything that would put her in front of the cameras, anything but that. But she accepted a raise in her salary as compensation for her hard work.

"That's her." She heard someone whisper when she passed by the entrance of their building. But, of course, she ignored it, not thinking much about it as she proceeded to the elevators.

However, as she walked on the lobby floors, she could not help but observe that people were looking in her direction. She slightly turned around, wondering if someone else was behind her, only to realize she was alone.
