章 67: Chapter 67

Not again.

That was the only thought going through her mind for the entire minute as she stared everywhere else but him. She intentionally avoided looking at her boss, ashamed of yet another one of her idiotic mistakes. 

She could feel her heart beating a mile per minute. Then, she could sense her body tremble from her trepidation. How could she act stupidly? She thought when she opened her eyes that she was still dreaming.

And why was she even dreaming about him?

"I thought it was a dream." She heard the words come out of her mouth. It was too late to stop it. She knew he had already heard her even if she plugged her lips with her hands.

"So, you were dreaming about me." There was no sign of his initial ire. Instead, he seemed amused when he confirmed her fear. 

She wished she could run away from him, but where could she go? There was a room at the back, but it was probably his private quarters. She could not hide in there.
