Zavi Coville.
It was dark before we arrived, I was on my way to the warehouse when I got a call that William couldn't handle Nora. Nora can be very stubborn, I had seen her run wild like a lioness and I knew who she was. I could hear her swearing to break the door or burn my room. I know her, she was crazy. A very crazy beautiful bitch.
Then, I was angry Will can't even make her quiet, it was a pressing issue, the Russian mafia had been burning my warehouses and stealing my trucks of drugs. I wanted to count the remaining ones in the warehouse behind the house until I got that call. I was angry, I even called her a bitch but regretted it later.
She was going to do it.
I rushed back to the main building hoping that my room wasn't on fire.
The instant I opened my door, was when she was standing with a lit match stick up.
I was angry, and happy I got on time.
She said she was bored, she said she was my woman. She was fucking ordering me to tell her before I do something, I mean how does this crazy bitch come into my life? This attitude was the only thing that made me not think of her as Anita. Anita wasn't this..daring. For some reason, I liked her like that.
"It's for your good, Nora," I told her, hoping to calm her down.
"My good?. I don't understand you at all. One time you act as you want me, the next thing you push me away like a slut."
"You were supposed to be my slut." I blurted, well she was. I wanted to make her my slut, but she means more than that to me.
And then, I regretted it later, her eyes had changed color, and I got her angry.
"Is that what y'all think?." She asked, looking from Alec to William.
"Am I his slut?." She asked, again.
"Calm down, Nora." I try to stop her.
She yelled at me, "Don't tell me that!."
Her eyes were wide, she was extremely angry.
"I'm your Slut." She repeated, shaking her head at me, ``That kiss, was it meant for a slut?."
A question.
That question meant everything.
I turned to Alec and Will, "Leave." I ordered.
They both left quietly and I quickly shut the door.
I started walking towards her, the room was silent, Nora was still watching me.
I stopped in front of her and slowly touched her cheek. I didn't know how to start saying that I'd fallen in love with her, I didn't know how to begin telling her that she meant more than a slut to me.
She grabbed the hand I used in holding her cheek and pushed it away.
"Stop messing with my head." She growled.
Her arms encircled my waist and she pushed me closer to herself.
"If I'm your slut, treat me as one."
Then she pushed me on the bed and crossed over, her hand pinned me onto the bed. Her brown sleek hair was over by the side, her plump lips were inviting, if I could taste those lips again but….shit, this was no time to think shit, a very sexy angry lioness is on top of me.
"Take me as you would do to a slut, and if you don't, now..you've lost a chance of calling me a whore."
I was surprised.
I must confess, I want to take her now, but that would make it the fact that she was only but a whore.
I just watched her quietly like her pupil, like an obedient puppy.
She gave up and stepped out of the bed.
"From now, treat me with more respect, we will coexist from now on. I'm working for you based on a contract, I work because my dad owes you, and you'll be the humble boss that respects me as a woman. You didn't just pick me up on the road, I wasn't just sold, but I'm working because my dad owes you a lot of money. He didn't just ask you to take me because I was useless to him but he had no choice but to give me up. I've proved capable of handling things, so you'll respect me because of that. See me as a woman and not a slut. And also see me as me, from now on, I'll be working with you like Davina is doing, there are things you do to me that you don't do for Davina, it confuses me, if what we have isn't defined, don't play with my emotions like a whore."
She walks out leaving me dumbfounded.

A few days pass.
Vanora Campbell.
A few days passed without seeing an annoying boss. I knew he was busy with work, and I've also been busy at work. I've helped Alec in fishing out the fake goods in the warehouses. I've noticed that there are some missing, if several goods were to be shipped into Sicily, that number won't make it to warehouses, which means someone was working for the Russians.
The boss didn't notice because he had money, he was extremely wealthy so they think they'd continue to fool him.
As I was coming out of my room, I saw the boss walking in my direction, I curtsied and walked past him without a word.
It's been a long time since I've seen him, I've missed him but what stops him from apologizing to me? He feels too big to say the 's' word so I'll continue acting like I don't see him.
I also wanted to speak to him, there are many things I wished to say to him, but we both had pride. We'll continue to want each other and avoid each other at the same time.
I haven't forgotten my mom, I don't even know if Zavi has stopped the search for my mom's murderer. I wanted to find that bastard before I'm able to pay Zavi what my dad owns.
Seriously, I am lucky. Some men would make me work as a slut to pay back, but Zavi allowed me to stay with him and fish out fake drugs and traitors.
"Let's go, Davina," I said immediately I got downstairs.
"Nora, when are you going to stop this? I mean I hate the bad air around here."
I feigned ignorance, "What do you mean?"
"Sai di Cosa to parlando." ( You know what I'm talking about.)
I shrugged, "Abbiamo del Lavoro da fare." (We have work to do.)

We traveled with six bodyguards in heavily tinted SUV's. I was putting on a white-colored shirt buttoned up underneath with a tight black blazer, a black pencil skirt on a minimal height of black heels. My hair was swept up in a tight sleek ponytail.
"You know..you're giving him a hard time, he's still trying to cope with everything, Zavi would never apologize," Davina said.
I huffed, "You don't give up, do you?."
"I can't sit and watch like everything's alright. You're not doing great either."
I rolled my eyes and looked down, my eyes stared at the ring on my pinky finger. My mind wandered off when he gave me this ring. I ran my other hand on it unconsciously.
"See."
"Please stop. I know what I'm doing, okay? And now, I have to go to work."
I pushed the car open and walked out.
As we approached the entrance of the club, a bouncer saw us and nodded his head respectfully. His eyes were fixed on Davina, "Miss Bernardi, it's a pleasure to see you again."
He looked at me skeptically, and Davina quickly said, "Don't you recognize Ms. Campbell?."
The man quickly bowed, "I'm very sorry ma. You're free to go in."
He pushed the door open and we walked in together.
Inside, heavy music blasted, poles were staged at the center of the club and colorful lights streamed everywhere. There were a lot of men and strippers in all corners, you could perceive the heavy stench of perfume and alcohol, and the women had their faces caked in makeup.
"Ms. Bernadi. This way…" A man yelled, running towards us.
The man is in his early thirties, he wore a white shirt, untrimmed beards, and black hair. My eyes looked over him as I picked out a red smeared lipstick from his collar. He reeked of alcohol and he looked so unkempt. Why would Zavi give a whole mafia job to this man? Now, I can see how so many drug loads kept disappearing from the warehouses.
"Dimitri, this is Ms Campbell. She's here to go through the ledger and figure out how many drugs were shipped into Sicily days ago." Davina stated. The man looked at me, with a fake smile on his face.
"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Campbell. I've heard so much about you, but I would rather speak to Alec about this crucial arrangement."
In other words, he was saying that I wasn't fit for the job.
"This is my work, sir. You'll be discussing terms with me from now on, okay?." I told him quietly.
"Who the hell are you to look into this work?" He yelled, looking very pissed.
He turned to Davina, "I don't see why the boss's slut should have access to the ledger."
I shut my eyes, keeping my anger in check. He must have something up that he doesn't want me to know.
"Should I fire or kill you?." I asked in a cool calculating voice.
He scoffed and raised his hand to slap me, "How dare you?."
Before his hand connected with my cheek, Zavi asked, "What are you doing?."
He quickly bowed, "Evening, Mr. Romano."
I didn't look at Zavi, I just watched this dick fidget in fear.
"I was about to show Ms. Campbell the work's ledger." He reported, peeping up to look at me, I smirked.
"Then what are you waiting for? I'd like to see it too." Zavi said, and that was when I turned around. Alec was beside him, his hand in his pocket while Zavi stood with both hands tucked in. He looked handsome as always.
Dimitri's face went beet red as he lowered his head, "Of course, let's head to my office, shall we?."
His office was just as horrible as he looked. Bottles of expensive wine littered all over his desk. Papers and trash were scattered all over the floor, and joint wraps were everywhere. I shake my head at the poor chair, it looked like it had endured a series of sex.
I couldn't hold it in, so I turned to Zavi and Alec, "How can you let this..man run a very essential business?."
"You are here to fix it, aren't we?." Zavi replied. I turned and settled on a seat.
"Can I have the ledger?." I asked him. The man bent to his desk drawer and began taking out many books. I watched as his shaky hands took out a long record book.
He gave it to me, avoiding eye contact.
The book was dusty and sticky. It smelt horrible. Did they shove this book into a fucking pussy?.
I opened the book, careful not to tear any page as my eyes ran on it.
"You stopped in January this year. We're getting to October, why haven't you been writing down the sales and all?."
"Em...uh.." He tried to find a lie to tell.
"You've not been working, that was why the number of drugs kept disappearing from the warehouses, what the heck have you been doing in here?."
Not able to find something to tell, he went down on his knees, "I'm sorry, Mr. Romano."
"You haven't answered her question, Dimitri. Take him away and find out if he had any hand in the disappearance of my drugs." Zavi ordered his men.
His men quickly dragged him away. I faced Zavi, proud of myself, "Very nice job done." He commended my hard work. I smiled and suddenly there I heard a gunshot.
I froze, Zavi turned to Alec, "Find what's going on out there."
Alec ran out quickly and ran back in.
"Well, what a day to be under attack." He reported.
"Shit! shit!!." He cursed.
He turned to Davina and I, "Davina, get her out of here now!."

Author's pov
Nora followed Davina out of the club, worried about Zavi and Alec. They had escaped through the kitchen back door and were running to Davina's car.
Nora stood watching the club as the sound of gunshots intensified.
Davina shouted from the car, "Nora, get the fuck inside."
Nora quickly ran in and Davina drove off.
"I believe those men aren't coming for me again," Nora yelled, stripping the seatbelt.
"Who else? You're the reason we've had so much trouble, oh you're the reason I've had much trouble." Davina yelled back.
"What the fuck do you mean, Davina?."
Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw something fly in front of the car. The sound of screeching tires and shattered glasses filled her ears as the car flipped.
Her body was thrown towards the windshield, the seatbelt suffocating her as the car continued to flip down.
Nora let out a shrill scream as the walls of the car collapsed by themselves, she groaned painfully and crept out through the window.
The world seemed to be silent and all that was heard was the sound of her heart slamming against her chest.
All she saw before losing consciousness was a pair of sleek black shoes.

Zavi had just finished shooting the last man standing as he received a call from Irene.
He picked up the call immediately.
"Sir, it's Irene. I found out that he wasn't the man that I had been giving information to. It was a woman in disguise and you know who."
Zavi hoped it wasn't where his mind was going right now.
"It's Davina Bernardi."
