章 29: CHAPTER TWENTY NINE

Carla looked into her eyes and saw that she was not lying. She could see the anger that burnt in her eyes and she could feel the pain that came with the words that she spoke. Cyrus didn't really care if she was dead or alive. He wanted to kill her and Carl had saved her from him. She was alive, thanks to Emily and her family. If Carla wanted to harm Cyrus, Diane was the wrong person to go after because Cyrus was less bothered about her existence. Carla sighed as she waved her hands again. Everybody woke up, everybody except Brie. Carl walked towards Beth

"Are you okay?"

He said, trying to help her up. She pushed his hand away and got up herself. She winced in pain and held her side

"Beth, let me help"

"I do not need your help! I need you to believe and support me when I say something or do something because I would never hurt you and you know this!"

"What was I supposed to do? She was supposed to be my sister!" Carl argued.
