章 15: Green is bad luck
Ethan's pov continue...
Proving me right, the green guy jumped out of the building in the best condition he can be, my attack didn't even leave a mark, he looked at me and roared in anger.
I didn't panic and remained calm immediately surrounded my body with aura, In an instant i step to the side and a big green punch passed near my head giving me goosebumps. even with aura enhancement I barely dodge that, one mistake and my head would go flying.
He kept attacking me and I kept dodging with hairs width. my enhanced agility and reflexes were the only thing keeping me alive.
The more I dodge his attack, the angrier he become. So later the punch will hit me the more damage it will do. But I have to stall him for others to retreat.
Suddenly a missile came our way, we both dodge it and the missile hit the building behind us. but that made my movement falter, the green guy didn't let go of the chance and quickly launched a punch, I saw a punch coming. there wasn't enogh time to dodge it completely. So I gathered all the aura in my arms and try to block the attack.
Only part of his punch had connected with me. Still the sound of creaking came from my arm as it did. it felt like, I have been hit by a bus. It sent me flying far in the air. I immediately used all my aura to cover my body for defence, and after a little flight, I crashed into the military truck at the edge of the camp.
I tried to get up but coughed up a mouth full of blood as i did.
I can't help but curse, just moving my hand hurts. I gritted my teeth and got up. The place was full of green trucks. 'What's green colour have against me.' I thought and looked in the direction i had come from. I was thrown quite far...
The next moment, I saw a green guy went into the sky like missile. far from the military camp in just one go. 'Banner seems to get bored here.' I thought and sighed.
I wipe away the blood from my mouth and move toward camp. Hiding my mask & coat to stealthily getting mixed with refugees.
Fortunately, no one was paying attention as Horror and shock was evident in their faces. I took seat on the ground, leaning on the wall and assessed myself, I had 4 ribs broken, bones of my right arm creaked but there was a still internal bleeding and muscle was aching like hell. It will take a month or two to recover from these injuries.
"F*ck I hate green things." I cursed again.
Every injured person was taken to the hospital and that's includes me too. the doctor said it will take at least 3 months to recover. I didn't have anything urgent to do anyways. So I also tried to relax during my stay in here.

Who the hell was that white masked man? He stalled that monster for whole 2 minutes before getting hit. That monster had whipped out my 3 whole squads in 2 minutes, and the masked man bought us 2 minutes by himself. It was absurd yet a reality.
But nothing was more surprising than that monster, well there was one more surprising thing and it was the identity of that monster. It was dr. bruce's banner.
I clicked my tongue and swear to myself, I would make that damn monster pay.

A week passed since the accident green heppend. Ethan was still in the hospital eating fruits. Everyone present at the experiment had to sign a confidential agreement but he didn't care about that and told Gwen and Peter the whole thing. they both didn't want to believe but they did in the end since eyhan was the one telling them. they asked how's his recovery and all. he was realy enjoying his vacation here. Since it's had been long time that he had taken a break from his training.
But unknowing to Ethan, in a room with many monitors. one particular screen was playing a video of a white masked man jumping off the truck from which he has just crashed.
A certain man was stararing the screen intensly. He was bald and black with a black eye patch on his left eye. But his right eye seems to capture every moment without missing a single anything.
That man was Nicholas Joseph Fury Aka nick fury. the director of "Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division" or SHIELD.
