" What do you mean they'll be staying here? " I asked incredulously. 

" They'll be staying here for a short time Taylor, we've got nothing to hide. " said Dad 

" They can't stay here, they've got nothing on you, what do they hope to find ? " Jenna asked 

" Because of something that happened in the past, they want to 'observe' your father… and me. " said mom 

" Honestly girls, I think it's bullshit. Their reasoning is that I killed Ronan to take over. " Dad said with a sigh. 

" But why would you do that? Asked Jenna " He already made you his heir when he was alive, and everyone in the pack saw how averse you were to the idea."

Mom and dad exchanged a look and let out a sigh. 

" Now we're not telling you this, so you can go about suspecting everyone." Dad said 

I leaned in closer, anxious to hear what he had to say.
