The brownish demon's screams of pain lasted for a whole half a minute before his crisp voice finally turned hoarse and he finally completely turned silent as no voice or any kind of sounds could come out of his mouth anymore.
And when the surroundings turned silent, both Blake and Robus looked at each other before they nodded their heads and started making their way towards the circular earth wall.
The circular earth wall blocked their vision of what was happening inside it, including whether the brownish demon had really been killed and if his soul had come out of his body.
So in order to see the fruit of their labor, the two decided to break open the circular wall to see what was happening inside it.
Different from usual the darkness tendrils spell that Blake usually used and he also knew the runes needed to cancel those spells out, the circular earth wall was a spell that Blake got from someone else.
And Blake didn't know the runes that could be used to disassemble the earth wall that didn't lose in height when even compared to Robus' huge body.
So without any runes to do it, of course, the duo had to do it manually.
It was more like Robus did the majority of the work by breaking the earth wall with his fist and Blake clearing up the debris, but it was still teamwork that made them open up the circular earth wall in under a minute.
When the last bits of lower parts of the earth wall had finally been thrown out of the way, Blake could finally see even more layers of walls almost circling the brownish demon from all sides except for one direction where there were no earth walls at all, giving Blake a clear path straight to the brownish demon.
Which was coincidentally also the direction of where the brownish demon was facing.
The brownish demon was stuck right in the middle of those layers of walls with hundreds of darkness tendrils found literally all over its body.
With how much darkness tendrils lodged themselves onto the brownish demon's body, it was actually harder to find parts of the brownish demon's body that were not filled with darkness tendrils.
The hands that the brownish demon used to summon the annoying earth walls were now physically unusable as at least 10 darkness tendrils with each of them being one finger thick, stabbing through each of his hands, destroying all the muscles and bones that he needed to move his hands.
And those were also the case for all other parts of the brownish demon's body.
Added with the bendy darkness tendrils from the darkness binding spell pulling those broken masses of bones and muscles downward and restricting their movements even more, there's not a single chance that the brownish demon could move anymore.
A minute movement might be possible, but just remembering how much pain that the brownish demon felt earlier when he tried to struggle free from the hundreds of darkness tendrils, the brownish demon won't move even his pinky finger even if he could do it.
And seeing this sight in front of him, Blake only focuses on one thing.
Which was the empty space above the brownish demon's body.
"How could he not be dead after all this?" Blake muttered when he saw no soul had come out of the brownish demon's body.
"You are really an annoying and resilient fellow are you?" Blake looked at the brownish demon who couldn't register anything to his broken, almost-destroyed ears.
Seeing that the brownish demon was already on his last few breaths, Blake decided to hasten the process as he couldn't wait to taste the soul that would come out of the relatively strong humanoid demon.
Blake then walked to the part where there were no earth walls blocking him from reaching the brownish demon.
Blake just walked leisurely without a hurry as he observed how his darkness tendrils did stab through the brownish demon's chest and head.
'Did the humanoid demons able to live without their heart or brain?' He thought as he saw several darkness tendrils make their way directly towards the brownish demon's skull.
But then after seeing that there were no darkness tendrils that went through the brownish demon's skull, Blake tilted his head and thought to himself,
'Maybe his skull was too thick for the darkness tendrils to penetrate hence why his brain should still be unscathed right now and why he was still alive despite this many darkness tendrils stabbing him.'
After saying those words, something clicked on his head as Blake realized something.
'This many darkness tendrils?'
Blake then looked up and down the brownish demon's body and saw how many darkness tendrils had actually been summoned.
And no matter how he looked at it, Blake realized that too much darkness tendril had appeared from just the two spells that he had cast.
The usual amount of darkness tendrils that should be summoned from one spell should be in the dozens, but seeing the number of darkness tendrils that appeared were most probably in the hundreds.
He didn't think about it much when seeing the state of the brownish demon as the sight was not new to him.
If Blake used the myriad of darkness tendril spell, then he would be seeing a very similar sight to what happened to the brownish demon since the myriad of darkness tendrils were simply just too destructive.
But now that he realized it, the usual darkness binding spell and the darkness spike spell shouldn't have summoned this many darkness tendrils.
'Did something I didn't know happen while he was still inside the circular wall?'
Blake then took a closer look at the darkness tendrils to check whether there were any notable changes to them and moved his face closer to the darkness tendrils to see them better.
However, what Blake didn't know is that when his face got closer to the brownish demon, a deep-rooted fear bloomed inside the brownish demon's heart as he saw the face of the person who was responsible for bringing him the pain that he had never felt before.
