Of course, when asked about it, Cadmus instantly flushed and hollered, "Nothing! It's nothing!"

Yet, his eyes were drawn to Blair like a magnet, hoping to catch her smile again. 'It's nothing!' Cadmus repeated as he listened to his classmates, a desperate attempt to hunt for the reason for her smile. 

'IT'S NOTHING!' Cadmus screamed at himself when he found out Blair had a sleepover at Hershey's place yesterday. 

She was just happy about the matching beaded bracelets she made with her. 'Ugh! This is so dumb!' He was not supposed to care about her liking such simple mundane things. 

Cadmus Mondragon did not like Blair Winifred. 

Not even when her special smile felt like spring sunshine thawing his freezing hands. He wasn't interested in her at all, and he totally didn't want to make her smile too. There was no way he was jealous that she never showed her special smile to him like that.
