Dana held him close not letting go. She was afraid he was still angry she could feel his emotions from the mate bond, she could his anger, pain confusion, and more. Lazarus heard her question and did not know how to answer her. Was he angry because those two witches become a little too comfortable in his pack? He did not know the answer or was he angry that they were after Kora? If so then why is he so protective of her? He had only known her for less than a month. And what was the connection he felt with her? He pulled Dana into a hug and held her tight against himself.
