"Did you realize your mistake now?"

When Adrianna did not receive any reply, she shrugs her shoulders and walks toward Garret to get her bowl of popcorn. Shayne is already an adult. She should know how to acknowledge her mistake and learn the differences between right and wrong.

"Garret, do you want to marry her?" Adrianna asked.

"No." he firmly replied. "I have no intention to marry her since day one."

"But—"

"Ms. Cruz, you can go now."

Shayne looks at Garret as if she will cry anytime soon. She feels disappointed with this result. Shayne visited him in hopes that he will agree to her request. After that, she will visit her grandfather and tell him she is getting married next month.

But the reality is full of surprises and it is something that no one can predict. And that includes her. Not only she did not achieve her goal today. Shayne also received a firm rejection from Garret.
