章 258: Drawing more of her blood

After Phoenix had fallen asleep, Ashton went to skim through The Ardence Project proposal one last time. He didn't take a long time as he needed the rest, too.

Ashton remembered what Sky had told before, that Phoenix would get nightmares when her emotions were disturbed, thus, he does not even dare to leave Phoenix on the bed by herself. 

It was a VVIP room, thus the room was big and comfortable, like a hotel room. The bed was enough for both of them. 

After placing his laptop and the papers on the bedside table, Ashton lowered his body and hugged Phoenix. 

The nurses that came to check on Phoenix were blushing, seeing how Ashton and Phoenix were cuddling each other on the hospital bed.

They do what they need to do, quietly, and leave the couple to indulge in each other's warmth. 

The next morning, Dr Zach Song came towards the VVIP floor to check on Phoenix.
