Ian's breathing was finally back to normal. He stood up straight and cleared his throat. Taking one final breath he said, "Yes, the scroll is also gone." 

Deimos who must have been really mad after learning this threw his head back and burst out into laughter. He could not help but laugh at it, when it was a grave issue. He should have at least shown a tad bit of aggression or must have called the guards to catch the espionage, or must have punished them for not carrying out their tasks properly but he just stood at one point and laughed like none of it happened. 

And not just him, Ian who was panicking a few minutes ago when he walked inside the room, joined him as well. Both of them laughed raucously like they have gone insane. At that point of time, they did not even look like they belonged to a royal family or a pack. They seemed like they were just two people, enjoying the best days of their lives.
