"Hmm, where should I place these stat points that I have?" Carter uttered by himself as he looked at the screen in front of him.
"You have 3 stat points, right?" Dandrik, who heard it on the side, asked.
Nodding his head, Carter gave a thumb up to the man. They will receive 3 stat points every time they level up, while an additional 2 stat points will be given every time they rank up.
After thinking carefully, Carter decided to give the 2 on his Strength while the remaining one will be placed on the Agility.
[3 stat points will be deducted. Do you want to continue?]
The side of Carter's lips rose up as he clicked the green button.
"Yes."

He then proceeded to open the skills tab. He thought that this will be helpful for them later, or in the future days in case they bumped into a medium-level monster once again.

Carter clicked the yes button one more time under the question. Seconds after, the words faded and were replaced by both the skills that he had, and the ones still locked.

- Description: Movement speed will increase by 50% for 10 seconds.

- Cooldown:1 minute

[Skill: Stone Wall]
- Description: Once Stone Wall is triggered, you can use it to protect yourself from any damage. The enemies' damage will decrease by 75% for 30 seconds.

- Cooldown: 5 minutes

- Description: Deal 50% more damage to enemies for 5 seconds. If the player is not hit by any damage for 5 seconds, then the next attack will deal 75% more damage.

Stuck between upgrading and adding, Carter chose the latter part. Since he already added one stat point in his Agility and Strength, he thought that might as well use his skill point for protection.
He pressed the yes button below the question after giving it some thought.

When everything was done, Carter moved on to another tab and opened his quest.

Carter tilted his head to the side. He still needs to level up 2 more times to accomplish the main quest. Although he knows that there was still a lot of time, he couldn't contain the eagerness coming from his mind.
He wants to do it as soon as possible. He just needs 175 exp more in total to reach level 5 and unlock the shop. The thought of buying his first weapon made him thrilled.
"Can we go now?" Carter abruptly asked Joseph when the man came back from buying food for their lunch.
They were not sure if they could find nearby shops later when they tour around, so they made Joseph buy some bread before settling out.
Joseph nodded and chuckled. "Why do you look so excited?" He asked the man when he noticed that it was the first time Carter had asked that question.
"I just wanted to level up faster." Carter stood up as he answered.
"Anyway, I only bought 6 pieces of bread and 3 bottles of water. This will be just enough for our lunch."
Carter nodded and went to grab the 2 pieces of bread and a bottle of water. He looked at his inventory and saw that he still had a piece of bread and a bottle of water that he bought yesterday.
"Let's go now," He uttered as they went down and walked outside.
Looking around, Carter surveyed the place that they were staying. There were a lot of players staying in the place as well. The three of them saw a lot of people walking around as they toured around.
"Where are we even going?" Carter asked them minutes after.
Dandrik proudly smile. "Just follow me, okay?"
Puzzled, they had no choice but to follow Dandrik since that was what they were doing all along when they left.
"Wooh!!"
"Die! Die! Die!"
"Place your votes, everyone!"
With furrowed brows, Carter looked around and saw a bunch of people gathering in the middle of the street. On the side was a wooden table carrying a lot of money that the people used to bet.
"I will vote for PeterPack!" A man shouted as he placed 3 bronze coins on the table.
With rigged clothes, the old man, sitting in front of the table, smiled. It seems like they will have a lot of profits today.
The audience was cut in half. The right side was supporting a man named PeterPack. While the other side was supporting the man named Simp_Nation.
"What are they doing?" Joseph cluelessly asked another person who was watching on the side.
"A fight. People will bet on who they would like to win." The person answered without taking his eyes off the small stage.
"What will happen to the players inside the ring, then?" He added in.
The person smiled mischievously. "Did you guys even know the rules of the game?"
Shaking his head, Joseph looked back to ask either Dandrik or Carter if they knew the rules.
"Nah, I don't know," Carter obviously said no as he didn't have any idea whether this was just a normal fight or a simple fun that was set up by the game.
"The only rule in this game is to survive. If you die, you lose. "
