章 87: New Year party

The conversation was cut short when very soon the notice to celebrate the countdown with their parents arrived.

Ayana was sent back to her room, along with Sebastian.

The room's lights were kept switched off, thus making the duo rely solely on the brightness of decoration lights coming from below. The crowd was cheering, signifying they have finally reunited with their parents and the party has started.

Ayana was fidgeting with her phone while sitting on her bed with support. She was monitoring the minutes left for the new year to begin. On her side, she could see Sebastian standing right next to the window with his body hidden behind the curtain.

"What are you staring at?" Ayana asked, as he couldn't be looking at the family celebrating in the garden. The view wasn't available from the location they were in.

"Hmm? It's nothing." But he refused to tell.
