章 50: The First and Only One

As they both sit down to have breakfast together, Yang Ran began to notice that there were a few people who were keeping their eyes on them.

What was strange was that those people were supposed to be on the commander's side.

Didn't the young commander say that he was working for the president? Those people who were following him around seemed to be under him.

Yang Ran shoved some scrambled eggs into her mouth. Just as she looked up, a fork with a tomato cherry was in front of her. Yang Ran raised her gaze and shot an inquiring look at the commander.

"Come on." Qi Ming Wei flashed a smile. "Didn't you agree to play along with me?"

Yang Ran watched the man cautiously, wondering just what was he trying to do. A few seconds passed by. After a brief hesitation, Yang Ran leaned over and opened her mouth to take a bite at the tomato.

The smile on his face widened. "Good girl."
