Cynthia had no idea that a detective can say whatever he sees fit in order to get a confession out of someone. She was still flabbergasted learning that her ex best friend had died.
She looked down at her hands which were ice cold and clenched over her lap still. A small part of her questioned her humanity, shouldn't she at least be able to produce a single tear for someone she knew for all of those years?

Thanks for another round of table slamming, Cynthia snapped out of her dazed state. Whatever had happened to Sally had nothing to do with Cynthia who was completely done taking out her revenge on her ex best friend. Her priority now was to safely return back to her son and husband.
