Cheng Weiyue's pace was somewhat flustered as she looked down at the tips of her shoes, her ears red, "I don't know..."
The parking garage was empty and quiet, the echo of shoes clicking against the ground audible.
Zhou Jingwei's gaze fell on Cheng Weiyue's flushed ears, a shade of darkness in his eyes, "I know."
Cheng Weiyue looked up at him in surprise, "You know what kind I like?"
"I don't know," Zhou Jingwei curved the corners of his mouth, a touch of laziness and nonchalance in his demeanor, "but the first time I saw you I knew, I like someone like you."
The redness on Cheng Weiyue's ears spread bit by bit to her face.
She buried her head even lower and didn't lift it again for the rest of the way.
Fortunately, they soon arrived inside the villa. Zhou Jingwei turned on the light in the entrance hall, seemingly not noticing Cheng Weiyue's flushed face, and spoke easily, "Your room is on the third floor, I'll take you there."
Cheng Weiyue murmured an "Mm" in response.
