Everyone was speechless when they heard Lei Zhen sighing and feeling completely disappointed at the outcome.

"You seriously investigate me all on your own will, Cecile?" Lei Zhen couldn't help but ask her again to confirm it.

And when Cecile nodded her head, feeling confused by his behavior, Lei Zhen fell into a slump.

"Uncle Lei Quan, just releases her, but as for Carlos, I'll let you decide how to deal with him." Lei Zhen turned to Lei Quan and addressed him as uncle, not bothering to play the stubborn attitude.

If Cecile was investigating him under the order of either person of the Shan Clan, then Lei Zhen would have a legitimate excuse to ask for information regarding them, including how they were involved in the car accident.

Unfortunately for him though, everything was acted on her own and was unrelated to Shan Zhikong nor Shan Lin.
