From the sky it would probably look like one massive splash of light inside a dark patch of emptiness, Las Vegas, the meadows, in the middle of this bone dry backyard of Nevada, now boomed into a notorious destination for those out for a night on the streets.

"I wonder sometimes where this place started off?" Donnalee asked as she strolled next to Deno, her eyes high blinking at some of the lights a little too bright.

"It started off as a railway town between California and Salt Lake city, who would have known this was where it ended up?" He said.

"You bit of a historian?" She asked before dipping her bottle upside down to her lips.

Deno chuckled, he remembers it well, the days of Astrid, Vegas was one point in his life he wanted to invest in, but what scared him away was the sand and heat... Who starts to build a town in this wasteland even if there were sufficient water?
