章 249: The Wild Part of You

Theo carried Cora upstairs to his bedroom. The counter was entirely acceptable for showing her what he wanted to, but the possibility of someone walking in and seeing her vulnerable and exposed was too great. If that happened, he would probably lose his mind. And he didn't need mauling someone today on his conscience—not unless that someone was David. 

He lowered her over the bed that now smelled almost exclusively of her scent. He hadn't slept here in weeks. Since he had been back home from Gray Vale, he either fell asleep in the hallway or on the couch, and usually it was a combination of the two throughout the night. If he and Cora were ever blessed enough to have pups one day, then he was getting good practice where sleep was concerned.
