章 217: Volume 3 Extra Part 5: White Shadow Part 1
" We've arrived, Lady Yukino! " the pilot of the air transport says as he brings Yukino to a fortress.
[ Location: White Snow Bastion Fortress, at the top of Mt. Fuji, Japan. ]
As the Air Transport lands, Yukino comes out from it, breathing the cold ice as she returns to one of her homes.
" How does the cold air feel, Onē-Sama? " a voice calls her, approaching her at the landing spot.
" Minako? " Yukino sees her little sister as she runs to her and jumps towards her.
" Onē-Sama! " she jumps to her, and Yukino hugs her for how close she was to her little sister.
" How's your battle, Onee-Sama!? "
" I heard the [Abyss Tower] costs many lives in Trinia, I've seen it on the news! "
" Thank the gods for your return, unscathed... " Minako says for she was worried for the whole time about Yukino's departure to Trinia.
" Everything's alright Minako... "
" I only returned late here, that's all you need to be worried about, nothing else. " Yukino pats Minako's hair while hugging her, she missed her.
" Right, everything's alright... " a voice says so cynically, with a harsh tone.
" How funny, my little sister!? " a cynic comes as she approaches Yukino as flicks her black hair.
" Makino Onē-Sama... " Yukino says she sees her older sister, Makino, coming towards her with a cynical stare as if she hates it when she returned home.
" It seems something has troubled you, this time. " Makino says to her as she approaches.
" For I've heard that you've been defeated, weren't you? " Makino asks Yukino in a mocking tone.
" Onee-Sama! " Minako shouts to her.
" Silence, Minako! I am talking to Yukino, not you! " Makino scolds Minako for daring to raise her tone despite her young age, she is so strict about this, for she is the eldest of the Fubuki Family Head's daughters.
" Onē-Sama, forgive us... " Yukino politely asks Makino to forgive her rudeness.
" Fine then, since you must be exhausted... "
" But tell your Onē-Sama first, Yukino... " Makino says for she pauses a bit and then says.
" About your encounter with the 'Shiro Oni'... " Makino suddenly mentions the 'White Demon' in its Japanese name.
When she said that, Yukino's eyes suddenly widened for she just mentioned the title of the guy she despises the most, despite she only met him just once.
"( 'Shiro Oni'... )" Yukino growls in her mind after hearing the name came out from her elder sister's mouth.
" Oho... " Makino sees Yukino's reaction, she sees her slowly unleashing her [White Blizzard] in the snowy fortress.
Yukino feels triggered for she kinda hates the 'Shiro Oni' in her very heart, she hates him for being defeated by the likes of him, an S-Rank Hunter, and the daughter of the Fubuki Family like her, defeated, quickly even.
" Oh my, what do we have here? " Makino laughs as she puts her hand to cover her opened mouth.
" Seems, my dear Imōto has finally fallen from her grace, a man finally defeated her, ahahaha! " Makino laughs, mocking Yukino regarding this.
" I wonder what the 'Shiro Oni' had done to you, it must be bad, I believe, fufufu! " Makino can't hold her laughter while she tells Yukino that the rumors regarding Yukino's lost to 'Shiro Oni' is spreading to the whole of Japan. Some people even say that the 'Shiro Oni' had (I'm sorry) f##ed Yukino up.
" Who says that!? " Yukino burst into her anger, for her [White Blizzard] Chimera Gift ability has gone wild due to her emotional outburst.
" Who dares state those things? I will execute them alive! " Yukino can't take the shame for she even holds the Katana she brings, preparing to unleash it to relieve her anger.
" Onē-Sama " Minako says, looking at the angered Yukino, she looks very angry for to hear such news spread in her very homeland.
Minako begins to cry, trying to calm Yukino down which Yukino gets the gist as she turns off her burst of anger.
" Forgive again my rudeness! " Yukino bowed to state her apologies to Makino which made Makino kinda pissed off to feel Yukino's very Gift Power, still strong as ever.
" Tch, that 'Chimera Gift Core' of yours... "
" To think such specialness would be gifted to the likes of you, sister... " Makino feels envious as she recounts the feeling, her hand is shaken for she feels the difference in power between her and Yukino despite her being the eldest daughter.
" Let's end things here... "
" If you use the [White Blizzard] here, you will freeze the entire populace of living things here more than before. "
" Now come, Mother-Sama is waiting! " Makino says as she told Minako to leave for she orders the nearby maid to bring Minako back to her dorm inside the fortress.
" Acknowledged, Onē-Sama... " Yukino says as the two Fubuki Family sisters began to enter the fortress aisle that led them to their mother's chamber.
[ High Priestess Fubuki Misaki's chamber. ]
As they entered it, the Shrine Maidens bows upon seeing the two's arrival, which Makino dismissed but Yukino, being the honorable girl she was, she bowed for a bit upon them to return their respect.
" Why did you have to bow on them, my dear daughter? " the High Priestess Fubuki Misaki says to Yukino, her daughter.
High Priestess Fubuki Misaki, the current 200th Fubuki family head, this very family clan is still related to an ancient Divine Bloodline Clan, the 'Blue Blood Clan' or people who usually called it the 'Noble Clan'. This family is a matrilineal family, thus the women are the leaders for this family no longer produces a male descendant from their breeding for many years, which the family desperately want for their own needs.
Because of that, the High Priestess, being the Fubuki family head she is, decided to have intercourse with many high-value men in order for giving birth to a perfect male heir, since it has been the family clan's standard that a male Fubuki will have the power of the god that descended them in his very body. But sadly, she also receives the same curse as her predecessors, thus crushing her dreams to make a difference in her previous ancestors, for instead of male progeny, she was given five female progenies, three of them are here which leaves the other two that still went out.
The Fubuki Family members usually had a cold personality toward others, their chilling nature give chills to those around them for their unmatched coldness and their unexplainable beauty. Even the High Priestess herself, even if her hair goes white due to her old age, she still looks beautiful for there are no wrinkles on her face, and she looks so young (Due to her special bloodline of course, making her the second looked-young mortal woman other than Grandma Rory Kent).
But despite all of that, she is a cruel witch that only wants to fuel her endless ambition, despite her cold demeanor, there's a raging fire of ambition inside her that wants more, making her a perfect 'Avarice' Sin Ability User if she gets the chance but sadly Adrian Waterson is still more Greedier than her so,...
She's still less sinful than Adrian but had more specialties than him.
" Mother-Sama, I'm sorry if this disrespect you... " Yukino bows.
" Enough, all of you girls leave us! " High Priestess Misaki orders the remaining Shrine Maiden in the chamber to leave them, leaving the three of them left in the huge chamber.
" Welcome back, daughter... "
" It seems you again had made me proud with your achievements... " she says to Yukino which made Yukino feel respected.
" Thank you, Mother-Sama! " Yukino bows to her, continuing their conversation.

Head Priestess Fubuki Misaki is a cold and cunning figure, her nature is based on her cunningness and ambitions, and she is the most ambitious woman in all of Japan, the world perhaps, due to her want to increase the Fubuki family's status in the eyes of the Divine and the Mortals, thus her craving for a Male Heir, she wants a Fubuki descendant that has the ancient 'Blue Blood Clan' powers before the other families related to it gets it in their bloodline.
This 'power' is only available to 'male progenies' from the 'Blue Blood Clan' descendants.

KJVZeanso Ah yes, another potential Avarice User than Adrian.
Some facts, before Adrian, I actually wanted to introduce her in the [Abyss Tower] arc to make her use 'Avarice'.
But then I forget, she's not a Hunter but a family head which makes things complicated if I proceed using her instead of that simple-greedy-minded Adrian.
Sorry for Adrian's simple characteristics, I think that he is the primal characterization of a sinful person that has nothing to do besides doing more sins.
