( Continuing the current conversation.)
" So, you basically can use it while unleashing your Gift Ability. " Ragna says while analyzing what he had seen.
" Indeed, and tell me, in what way I can use the Ki during my example earlier? " Galen asks Ragna which he immediately thinks with his brain.
"( His attacks are quite unorthodox but it seems I can get something from them. )"
"( From his example earlier, his [Sting Thunder] was unleashed by the same amount of energy, but... )" Ragna says in his mind as he understands.
" Galen, I see now...! "
" Oh really? "
" Yes, I can see it now! "
" You used the Ki to strengthen your hand, didn't you? " Ragna says as he then tells that from the crack he realized that Galen's second attack is more destructive since Galen's hand is being strengthened, thus boosting the Gift Ability's effect by increasing its damage.
" You are correct, Ragna... "
" I did strengthen my hands while unleashing my Gift Ability. " Galen says.
" But tell me something? "
" Did you realize how did I able to do it? " Galen suddenly asks Ragna, confusing him.
"( Wait, he's right... )"
"( How did he able to do it in the first place? )" Ragna asks while recounting something.
"( Based on reality, we know well that our Gift Core is meant to wipe out any other Energy Sources in our body. )"
"( But for me, since my Core didn't come from the Gods but from Ragna Twelve*, my Core was supposed to be quite different. )"
"( Unfortunately, since I have the Yakan Curse as my Gift from that damned goddess Indura, I also had that limits that hindered me the most. "
"( From the start, just like the other Gifted humans, I can't absorb any other Energy Sources like Mana or Ki and etc, etc, etc, except for the Aether and the System since both of them somehow even managed to suppress the Yakan Curse's power. )"
"( Second, the reason why I probably can't absorb the Ki in the first place is that it will trigger the Yakan Curse that will automatically activate if it senses another power flowing inside my body, which it would not let pass. )" Ragna says to himself as he slowly realized the truth.
"( I see now, then the reason Galen manages to use Ki is? )" Ragna says as he then tells Galen his answer.
" You didn't use the Ki to strengthen your body from the within, instead you use the Ki to only strengthen the outer parts of your body, didn't you? " Ragna asks.
" Like that punch earlier, you actually use the Ki to strengthen your hand, didn't you? " Ragna asks while recounting the whole thing.
" Since you're also a Gift User, then cultivating the Ki inside your own body should be impossible, since usually the Ki would be immediately eradicated by the Gift Core's energy that flows through our blood and veins. "
" But,... "
" Based on your example earlier, my answer is... " Ragna stops while Galen begins to wonder about the continuation of his answer.
"( He's getting closer to understanding the basics... )" Galen says since he wants to know Ragna's talent for knowing the basics.
" *Grins* .... You used the Ki to empower your hand, either you used it to empower your bone structures, muscles, or even your hand's very skin. " Ragna says Galen replies that Ragna answered it correctly.
" That's 100% correct Ragna since I can't cultivate the Ki inside my body using the internal organs then I must redirect the cultivation method to other organs so that when it activates could produce more strength, which is... "
" Strength? Do you mean our muscles? " Ragna asks Galen and he then tells that the answer is right, for he cultivates the Ki using his Muscular System.
" You're correct, the reason I and my family is still able to cultivate the Ki is that we used our muscles to produce the Ki. "
" I know that this method is not supposed to be 100% accurate in order to cultivate the Ki, but since we have the Gift Core in our body, we can only use any external sources to empower either our bones, muscles, sensors or external organs. "
" Let me show you for example. " Galen says as he tightens his grip over his hands for he then unleashes the power of the Ki by gripping his own hand to trigger the Ki using his Motoric and Muscle Systems.
As it happens, the Ki was then cultivated through Galen's muscles undisrupted by the Gift Core Energy for the energy can only get rid of the outside energy that flows inside the humans' blood, not if it flows in the places like Bones, Muscles or even Vital Organs such as Brain and Heart.
As he unleashed the Ki, Ragna was shocked as he sees it for he sees Galen's Ki Aura is strong and realized that it seems Galen had a great talent in order to cultivate this very energy to be cultivated despite doing it inappropriately.
" Oh yes Ragna, you can follow me if you want to cultivate your Ki for the first time. "
" But first, I must tell you that you must rely on your senses to catch the feeling of the cultivation. "
" And also, your life essence/ your Soul must also be synchronized with your mind and senses to increase the flow of the Ki. "
" Think of it like a pump to increase the spark of your Ki cultivation. "
"( I see, so the Ki needs to be cultivated through our motoric and muscle activities huh? )" Ragna says as he tries to grip his own hands to trigger the Ki.
"( C'mon trigger it, trigger it! )" Ragna says while gripping his hand even further.

< (!) Notification (!) >
< The Player is now in the progress to unlock the Ki ability. >
< The Player will begin to sense the Ki that slowly cultivates inside the Player. >
< Ki Cultivated +10 >
As Ragna tries to increase his motoric and muscle activities by gripping his hands, he can slowly sense the feel of the Ki cultivating inside his body, a faint feeling but Ragna immediately knows that it was his Ki being cultivated for the first time.
"( It's here, I can sense it increasing. )" Ragna says as he can sense the Ki sparked for the first time.
I'm sorry if the method is different and most likely not applicable in real life, but this is the alternative way that Galen's family managed to use to cultivate their Ki.
