Callie's POV ...

Kameron had been pretty much silent after our meeting with Daniel. I knew that he was upset and on edge about everything but he was icing me out in the process.

It was sunset now and the pack meeting was in the next 30 minutes. Arianna had come over to help me get ready for the night. She had styled my hair and done my makeup to perfection.

I had picked out a simple white knee-length dress for the occasion. It was a sweetheart neckline, and the bodice was tight on my torso, and gave a little more cleavage than I was used to.

"Alpha Kameron is going to have a hard time taking his eyes off of you," Ari squealed in excitement.

"Yeah," I replied a little unenthusiastically. The smile dropped from her face. "What's wrong?"
