章 70: Home with Me

Callie's POV ...

"What's wrong?" He looked at me, concerned.

"I don't know if I will make a good Luna. I know I want to be a good one but I also know that I haven't been trained for a position like this. I was a child when I Lost my parents and I spent eight years as a wolf. There are so many things that make up a good leader and I don't think I have the capabilities to make a good one."

He was silent for a moment thinking over my words. The light from the sun was gone but I could still the slight twinkle in his forest-green eyes.

"You're right." 

Not what I was expecting.

"You won't make a good leader."

I felt myself deflate. I hadn't expected him to be so blunt and obvious. This was not something I had expected to come out of his mouth.

I started to push off of him so I could sit up, suddenly needing some distance between us. But Kameron pulled me back down so I laid flat on his chest.
