章 109: Susan’s New Husband

Jack lay on the ground moaning in pain, and the guard put a coarse cloth over his mouth so that no one would be affected by his voice. Ian didn't seem to be in a hurry to have Jack taken away! It appeared that his punishment wasn't over yet!

He whispered in the officer's ear, and the officer announced again in a steady voice.

"William Logan and his father!"

William? My heart tightened for some reason, and I was relieved to see William walk in unharmed. Thank god Ian didn't hurt him!

Ian was there so as not to provoke his jealousy. I didn't even dare to look up at William, so I peeked at him from the floor's reflection. Even so, I could feel someone staring at me from behind. Ian was watching my every move!

"Susan Hall, I declare your marriage to Jack Jones null and void! You are no longer a couple! You are going to marry William!" Ian sneered. "Now, all you have to do is reject your mate!"
