章 293: Give It Time

Layla had a smile on her face as she watched Jason slowly walk into the living room, using a Zimmer frame.

"I know I look funny using this stuff, but could you at least try not to laugh at me? Don't laugh," Jason groaned as he came and slowly sat beside her.

It's been three months since Jason had his last surgery and it was a success. He has been making tremendous progress since then. At first, he had to be in a wheelchair and after a while, he began to stand, and slowly walk around with the aid of a simmer frame.

Layla had traveled with him and the rest of his family members for the surgery, and when Jason returned home, she moved in with him.

It hasn't been easy for Jason as he had to learn how to walk all over again and depend on painkillers to help him get by, but he has been pulling through, and Layla felt so happy and proud of him.
