"Thanks," Mason's grandfather mumbled as Mason handed him a cup of coffee.
They arrived at the hospital about thirty minutes ago and the doctors were already attending to Mason's grandmother.
"What are we going to do about Jack and Deb? Why haven't you reported them to the police yet?" Mason's grandfather asked him as Mason came to sit down next to him.
Mason took a deep breath and exhaled loudly.
"We will report them to the police soon, we have evidence of them confessing to their crime."
"My question is why haven't you reported them yet? What are you waiting for? The first thing you should have done after you found out what they did, is to have reported them to the police." His grandfather sounded angry.
Mason turned his face to look at him, why was he sounding angry? Wasn't all this his fault? If he hadn't forced his mother into getting married to that monster they won't be having this conversation.
