章 65: Stay

Ava kept taking steady deep breaths trying to calm her nerves as Mason gently laid her down on his bed.

This is her husband and not the monster who tried to rape her several years ago. She can do this. You've got this Ava. She kept saying in her head.

People do this every day, all the time. She was sure there is a couple out there somewhere, having sex right now. Hers shouldn't be any different. All she needs to do is just relax and allow Mason to take the charge of things and before you know it, it will be over.

"Ava, are you all right?" Mason's voice snapped her out of her reverie and she saw she was now only in her pant and bra. When did he take off her clothes? How long has zoned out? She suddenly felt self-conscious and used her hands to shield her breasts which were spilling out of her bra.
