The sounds abruptly stopped once Hazel reached the garden. She tried to look around, to find the source of the murmuring sounds, but she could find no one there.
The flowers swayed gently in the wind while the moon was so bright against the night sky. She decided to walk around this garden and when she arrived in the middle of it, where there was a beautiful fountain, she found someone, precisely a man with his back against her.
Hazel frowned and stepped closer to him slowly, trying to remember who this man was or if she had seen him before this.
However, when she was about to open her mouth and ask him, the man turned around abruptly. The bright moonlight was behind him now and she could only see a rough figure against the light, but she could tell that he was smiling.
This stranger was smiling at her.
