Archery Class

Atlantis High deserved its reputation. This was what Xaloc concluded after three weeks of enrollment. Even though the system is built on unfairness. It was still a good school.

When he had lived with his grandfather, his grandfather had taught him combat. Using knives to defend oneself and to attack others.

Xaloc had thought that the combat class would try and analyze what each student was good at before building on that but he was wrong.

"You must learn to be familiar with all weapons in case your weapon of choice is not available." Margaret, their assistant instructor, had announced. 

She gave an example where an archer might be entrapped in a house and the only weapon in the house is a barbed whip. Should the archer give up and wait for death?

On that note, they had begun a course called weapon training with the bow being the first weapon they were to wield.
