The knights suck in a deep breath. She was colder than Alex when it comes to torture. 

"Of course, unless they want to be a witness. We can not cut the limbs of a witness." she nodded as if she had just found the fact when the ashen man finally took a breath.

They stared at each other. Though did not say a word, Oli knew she had sown a seed deep in their minds.

They would wait for Cedric to save them. But when he did not, a few of them offered to be a witness if not all of them. 

As they were dragged away by the knights, Amber came closer to Oli and hugged her.

Oli could feel the wetness on her dress and the quivering back of the young girl and sighed.

"I.. I did not know about any of it. I thought, i have only told you about the plan to a few of the royal palace knights since I need them for your safety. " I swear Oli, I was discreet enough." the girl trembled with fear and regret.
