章 46: Anniversary

"Uncle, I've returned," Tang Wan announced as she stood in front of him. Her eyes were trained on him. Those ink-black eyes were Eagle like and they were focused on him. Yan Shu was uncomfortable with the way she looked at him. It was as though he was being turned inside out. It made him extremely uneasy.

When did Tang Wan become like this? Her mere presence made one uncomfortable. Moreover, she was not even saying anything scary. Nor was she attacking him. However, even so, he was unable to explain the unease in his mind.

Tang Wan didn't wait for him to recover. She walked past him steadily and even though, he didn't turn to look at her, the sound of the clang of her heels against the floor was very unnerving to him. His face was ashen.
