I overlooked the lands of Starling City, it was easy to figure out he operated out of this area. I simply used the internet, such a handy little tool.
Currently, I'm staying in a home I procured the owners will be enjoying their stay in a more permanent fashion.
I have been arranging several rune sets and wards around this home, I don't know if he has progressed far enough to achieve that annoying ability of magical reading but, I can't be too careful and alert him.
The worst thing you can do when facing a Libriomancer is to give them time to prepare, by the time you eventually face them they have already figured out exactly which books to read and in what order.
I frowned once more, on this social media app as the mortals like to call it many are reporting the pest going around the glades and attacking the different gangs, the problem is he is traveling so fast I can't get a proper feel for where he is.
I hate the shroud with a passion.
It seems painstakingly clear that I will need to set a trap, one so convincing and slippery he won't even realize that he has been had.
A trap that will make him question his intelligence. This trap will have to work quickly though, I don't want him to stop or worse move on.
I can't be delayed not now when I'm so close.
I tapped my finger on the table in front of me, I hummed a small tune as an idea formed in my mind, summoning one of my tomes I began to carefully contain it inside a glass casing.
A curse placed upon it, when someone with magic touches the casing their magic will bind itself.
I laughed as I began to send it off to the nearest museum.
A Libriomancer cannot escape their true weaknesses.
Interesting books.

I looked at the internet page of Starling city's historical museum, the front page had a picture of a carefully placed tome. I instantly recognized who it belonged to.
Circe.
She wouldn't have lost a tome that much I am sure of, it is almost impossible to lose something and not be able to summon it back which means she either gave it up for some plan or out of the goodness in her cold black heart.
So she is definitely planning something. Mortals can't combat forces like Circe, even for me, it's troublesome.
I idly sharpened my sword as I thought about what I should do. Should I wait for her to make the first move? Or should I head over to Starling city now and try to stop the madness she will unleash?
I should head over now, I heard the city itself is going through a difficult time I can go over under the guise of a charity worker. That way I can get more details that wouldn't be shared online.
It bugged me though, why would Circe volunteer one of her precious tomes? She is known to keep them so secure that even the gods wouldn't be able to steal them.
Some say she cherishes them as if they were her own kin, to give one away like this must mean she is after something equally as important.
What is in starting city?

Arriving home after another night of killing the recently formed gangs and gun runners I drank some blood to replenish my stores. There is no possible way I can go back to feeding off of gang members and drug dealers after I tried some of the stuff I've been able to procure.
Honestly, it's tiring doing all of this. Why won't they just give up? It's clear I won't allow them to get a decent foothold in the glades and with Oliver also fighting them the whole thing seems rather redundant.
Of course, Oliver is just capturing them though, what a tool. He tries to act like he isn't a machine oiled by his enemies blood.
The man is an efficient killer, under the right circumstances even better than myself. The only good thing about his new righteous mindset is that he isn't pushing it on me like some would.
If the people from the island could see us now they would laugh before trying to kill us, Oliver who turned ruthless is now becoming soft, and I who was known for draining the blood of anything that had any am now being picky.
On this topic, I never talked to Oliver about it but he has to know about my reputation with the whole blood thing but, I never told him about my status as a vampire.
Does he think I'm doing some type of satanic worship? Maybe he thinks I got a taste for it on the island and now I am just used to it.
One thing is certain, Oliver Queen will never think I'm a vampire, even with all of the evidence he just won't accept that vampires exist.

"Come in," I said as I walked out of the bathroom connected to my room
Dembe entered an envelope in his hand, "are they now sending envelopes because I won't answer their phone calls," I joked
He smiled softly while passing me the letter, the envelope was made from very old paper, no it's not I concluded as my hand gently felt the material, "human skin," I mumbled watching as Dembe shot me a look of disgust
Ignoring him I looked at the wax seal, in the center of the crimson wax there was a silhouette of a man getting impaled on a stake. I shook my head in amusement.
Opening the envelope I pulled out the letter, opening it there were only a few words,
'Seek me to find more of your vampire origins young one.
~A'
I froze, reading the twelve words over and over again I couldn't believe my eyes.
Someone knows I'm a vampire, and this person is definitely one himself.
The asshole didn't even leave a location to find him at.
I didn't even know if there were any more vampires, this just complicated my life.

After my momentary state of aggression and panic, I sat the envelope on my desk as I combed through the emails I had to reply to.
Absentmindedly I opened an email from the head of the Starling city museum of history. Seeing the contents of said email I resisted the urge to palm my forehead.
In front of me was an email detailing this new book the museum procured through donation, instantly I could tell it was magic tome, they all have the same similar features.
The man was raving about how old and rare the book was and how he got it appraised, he also mentioned that he will be unveiling it soon and he wants me there at the opening.
Now I might love old literature and even more so magical literature but, I can at least smell a trap from a mile away.
There is absolutely no possible way a rare magical tome found itself through a donation I might add in the hands of a museum, especially considering the Starling city museum isn't even that famous.
I now had a decision to make either I try to steal the tome and fall into a trap or I just ignore the potentially powerful tome.
It's times like these when I wish I wasn't so indecisive, I might be greedy but this is also dangerous.
It's also times such as these when a good workout helps. I have been practicing every single day since I fought superman, I need to get better at drawing from books when I don't have them on me.

A/N: now I know with the addition of more vampires it will pull away from his 'uniqueness' but there are other vampires in dc and each will be unique in their own right. Furthermore, after the particle accelerator, he will evolve.
