Everything in Obren was going on so well. The alphas were at peace and the packs were no longer rebelling against the crown. If anything, the wolves were having more trust in the crown. It was like the lid of misunderstanding had been lifted and now they could get on with what they wanted.

There was peace in the facts surrounding Obren too and strangely, Odelia hadn't attacked anyone. Maybe Rania had finally gotten to her, or maybe it was because Dalrae had told her to hold off until Rania came back.

At Incayon everything was alright too. Dalrae had gone quiet, like she didn't even exist, but she existed. She had become the unseen alpha, but one that no one in their right mind would ever try pissing off.

She had grown cold, her smile had disappeared, and her happiness was aint. The only thing that kept her going was the promise her sister had made to her months ago, the promise to meet her every three months.
