章 66: Too Much To Handle

Violet withdrew her hand when she could not stand the heat that engulfed every inch of her body. 

She turned her head to the side to hide her face, but Allen had already noticed it when she pulled her arm.

"What's wrong, love? Why are your cheeks red? Do you have a fever?" He asked these questions.

Violet shook her head and replied without looking at Allen. "I'm fine. You can leave now."

However, Allen was even suspicious when her voice was hoarse. "Do you have colds too? Is it flu?" 

He worried as Flora didn't forward a report regarding Violet's health condition recently. He just ran a scan on the AI, so impossible it had malfunctioned and shut down some features in her system.

As for Violet, she simply thought of dismissing Allen by treating him coldly. But it surprised her when he held her chin and gently lifted her face so their heads would be on the same level.

Then, the next thing he did was place his forehead on hers…
