章 163: The fiend

Black smoke billowed behind him, coming from the place where the ghost wasn't in but the candles kept it sealed. For a moment, Stephan was glad he didn't move a single candle and the system took care of getting the ghost. But looking at the ability that came with Gerald, it was worth it.

"Technically, I can use the mana you stored to launch a magic spell," Stephan whispered, rubbing his chin. Gerald nodded energetically and returned to sweet talk Abnu. In the end, she spanked him in the head, making him curl away. "But what's this smoke?"

Glowing beast eyes appeared in the middle of the smoke that formed slowly into a horrific fiend. It had two big horns over its head and wide monster teeth in its mouth. The dried blood behind him glowed faintly and then started turning brighter with time. The letters and symbols flew hitting the barrier around the fiend.

"A demon!" Gerald screamed.
